(A) Civil Works

Providing and fixing vitrified tiles (double charger) of size 600X600X9.8mm with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make like SOMANI / KAJARIA / RAK / JOHNSON, in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in flooring and 12 mm thick CM (1:3) in skirting, including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. Quoted rate shall be including removal of old damaged tiles / existing flooring up to required thickness including disposal of debries outside the HSL premises, preparation of the surface and the cost of Cement (PPC-Ramco, ACC, Ultratech, Nagarjuna & Jaypee) & all materials complete all as directed.

Providing and fixing 1st quality anti-skid floor tiles in toilets & wash rooms of 10mm thick (edge cut) conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make SOMANI / KAJARIA / RAK / JOHNSON in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., Quoted rate shall be including removal of old damaged tiles / existing flooring up to required thickness including disposal of debries outside the HSL premises, preparation of the surface and the cost of Cement (PPC-Ramco, ACC, Ultratech, Nagarjuna & Jaypee) & all materials complete all as directed.

Providing and fixing 1st quality, up to 10 mm thick (edge cut) Ceramic Glazed tiles in skirting & dados conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make SOMANI / KAJARIA / RAK / JOHNSON, in all colours and shades, laid on 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade. Quoted rate shall be including removal of old damaged tiles / existing flooring up to required thickness including disposal of debries outside the HSL premises, preparation of the surface and the cost of Cement (PPC-Ramco, ACC, Ultratech, Nagarjuna & Jaypee) & all materials complete all as directed.

Rearrangement of Mangalore tiles by removing old damaged tiles and arranging new tiles (tiles issued by HSL at free of cost). Contractor has to arrange the manpower to collect the materials from specified places. Quoted rate including the removal old damaged tiles and disposal of debries outside the HSL premises, level the surface and providing issued tiles in roof without any undulations etc., complete

Repairs to old damaged wooden members in grid below the Mangalore tiles by removing the damaged wooden members of any size and replacing with supplied wooden members of any size and thickness (wooden members issued by HSL at free of cost, Contractor has to arrange the manpower to collect the materials from specified places) including cutting into required sizes and fixing on top of wall with necessary nails, screws etc., excluding the making of pockets on walls and filling with concrete and etc., complete

Providing and lay water proofing treatment consisting of: (i) removing the old dagamed bituminous layer if any (ii) Application of Shalibond CS at 0.7Kg/Sq.M, cold bituminous adhesive for fixing waterproofing membrane (iii) Providing and laying STP (Shalimar) or Sika Atactic Ploypropylene Polyme (APP) modified layer prefabricated waterfproofing membrane having minimum thickness 1.50mm. Finishing the surface with trowel or otherwise to obtain a uniform surface. The minimum side lap and end lap shall be kept at 75mm and 100mm respectively (iv) Application of good quality aluminum paint in two coats over the surface to protect from direct exposure of SUN etc., Complete all as directed.

Removing of damaged wooden partitions from quarters and handover to Colony Maintenance Dept. and waste materials should be diposed outside the HSL Premisses etc., complete

FALGY Brick work with clay flyash F.P.S. (non modular) brick of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level in cement mortar (1:4) including cost of Cement (PPC-Ramco, ACC, Ultratech, Nagarjuna & Jaypee) and all materials & men etc., complete

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) FALGY bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand). The rate includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work including cost of Cement (PPC-Ramco, ACC, Ultratech, Nagarjuna & Jaypee) and all materials & men etc., complete

Providing 15 mm thick plaster with CM (1:4) to walls at all heights, lintel soffits, chajjas, projections, narrow bands, widths and where ever required etc., including cost of Cement (PPC-Ramco, ACC, Ultratech, Nagarjuna & Jaypee) and all materials, tools, plant and labour, scaffolding arrangements and curing all as per specifications and directions of the engineer.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work in nominal mix of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III): 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement and including cost of Cement (OPC 53 Grade-UltraTech, ACC, Nagarjuna & KCP) and all materials & men etc., complete

Supply and providing HYSD bar reinforcement of Fe-500 grade of approved make SAIL / RINL / TISCO including transportation, straightning, cutting, bending and binding with annealed binding wire of 18 gauge (1.22mm dia) complete all labour and material etc., complete all as directed

Providing water proof MS / Wooden centering and shuttering including strutting, propping for lintels and slabs and whereever specified etc., including removal of form work complete etc., complete

Providing sal / igisha wood work in frames of doors and other frames, wrought framed, wooden rafters and fixed in position etc., complete

Providing 40x5 mm flat iron hold fast 40 cm long including fixing to frame with 10 mm diameter bolts, nuts and wooden plugs and embedding in cement concrete block 30x10x15cm 1:3:6 mix (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and fixing 35 mm thick Flush doors of second class teak wood with good quality SS butt hinges of required size with necessary screws etc., including appplication of wood primer and putty on all the sides and providing teak beadings on all the edges of the door shutter etc., complete (over all area of door shutter is to be measured).

Providing and fixing anodized extruded aluminium sliding windows with mosquito mesh shutter in three track and louver type Ventilators including frames of approved colour & make. Aluminium sections shall be powder coated with approved colour including aluminium frame conforming to IS:1948, IS:1949 fabricated from extruded sections of INDAL / JINDAL or approved equivalent make having minimum 2mm wall thickness for windows & ventilators as per IS:1285, IS:733 and electro color coating of 15 microns thickness. Glazing shall be frosted float glass of 5.5mm thickness of approved make SaintGobin / Modifloat including sanp fit type beading, concealed screws, fixtures, lokcing arrangement for windows, C.P.brass / staineless steel screws, providing and fixing hinges / pivots, and making provisions for fixing of fittings where ever required including cost of PVC / neoprene gasket fits all complete with necessary filling up of gaps at the junctions, at top, bottom and sides etc., complete. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required.

Taking out existing door shutters from the specified quarters in HSL Colony as per the instructions of Project In-Charge and brought to site and cut into required height and refixing the repaired door shutters to existing door frames after laying of floor tiles, including replacement of required good quality SS Butt hinges with screws, etc. complete all as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Removing and refixing of existing wooden doors after removing old glass panes and replace with new frosted glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (weight not less than 10kg/sqm) with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty and application of wooden putty whereever required and handing over of useful glass panes etc., complete. (area of shutter is to be measured)

Providing and fixing 32 mm thick panelled and glazed shutters for windows of required size with necessary screws including cost of wood & 4mm thick frosted glass panes, applying of wooden putty etc., complete (over all area of door / window shutter to be measured).

Supply and fixing of marine grade plywood of 19mm thick in cup boards including application of putty and two coats of enamel paint over a wooden primer on both sides including required SS hinges, Aluminum tower bolts and Aluminium handles for shutters, locking Arrangement and required support memebers etc., complete

Applying two coats of putty of approved brands Birla / JK to new wall surfaces including applying suitable primer including necessary scaffolding and staging where ever required. Putty shall be finished till a smooth and even surface is achieved etc., complete all as directed.

Removing old paint by machine scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches, removing of nails and application of putty at open holes etc. with necessary scaffolding and staging where ever required and disposal of debries outside the HSL premises etc., complete all as directed.

Apply two coats of acrylic distemper of reqired shade to wall surfaces from approved brands Asian paints / Berger including necessary scaffolding / ladders where ever specified by Engineer etc., complete all as directed.

Apply two coats of snowcem paint of required colour to external walls including necessary scaffolding and where ever specified by Engineer etc., complete all as directed.

Providing Two (2) coats of white washing with suryacem / Hitech gold to ceilings and whereever required after thorough scrapping, sand papering and cleaning the surface to give even shade etc., complete all as directed.

Providing two (2) coats of synthetic enamel paint to wooden rafters, door & wooden frames and shutters and where ever specified (on wood surface / on steel surface) (after removing the rust by using wire brush or sand paper for steel surface / clean the surface of wood) of approved brand (Asian / Berger / Shalimar / Nerolac) and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade on old work including applying prime coat complete all as directed

Provide and apply of Black Japan Paint in one or more coats to wooden supporting members in roof including necessary scaffolding / staging / ladder arrangements, cost of paints, brushes, safety arrangements and required manpower etc., complete all as directed. (contractor has to inspect the quater before quoting the rate)

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. and MS Gates using MS hollow sections square / rectangular including priming coat with approved steel primer and two coats of enamel paint all complete

Supply of 110 mm dia UPVC (SWR) Soil and waste pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type B, jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, including fixing of clamps, bends, shoes (supreme/ Sudakhar / prince make) complete

Providing and fixing 25 mm nominal dia Pipes CPVC pipes for external plumbing lines of approved make Supreme / Prince / Astral including necessary fittings like bends, elbows, unions and required gate valves etc. Quoted rate shall include cost of cutting chases and making good the same and testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Cutting and removing of Big Trees including full girth, roots, trunks and tree branches and dispose the waste branches / unserviceable material out side the HSL premises and shift the good wood to Disposal Section located inside the Yard etc., complete all as directed.

Felling trees of the girth from 30cm upto and including 120 cm girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and dispose the unserviceable material out side the HSL premises and shift the good wood to Disposal Section located inside the Yard etc., complete all as directed.

Supply of material required and providing concealed wiring for switch boards in rooms with flush type switches for controlling the loads complete all as directed using 1.5 Sq.mm FR PVC wire of Havels/Finolex make of 2 runs and 1 run for earth (green colour) in suitable PVC conduit of sudhakar make with fixing clamps to be done all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply of material required and providing concealed wiring for all switch boards using 2.5 Sq.mm FR PVC wire of Havels/Finolex make of 2 runs and 1 run for earth (green colour) in suitable PVC conduit of sudhakar make with fixing clamps to be done all as directed by Engineer in Charge.
