Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting all complete & including cost of all labour, labour cess, T&P etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Earth work in excavation of foundation in hard soil with in 50m initial lead & 1.5m initial lift including rough dressing and levelling the bed & including cost of all labour, labour cess, T&P etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Earth work in filling of ordinary soil with initial lead and lift including rough dressing in layers not exceeding 0.3m in depth and the Earth transported by transport vehicles & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Construction of embankment with Sand and Soil admixture (40:60) with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site by mechanical means within a lead of 5kms, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 & Clause 305 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works(4th Revision) all complete including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits (To bring the Soil not to be less than 10% CBR) grading to required slope and compacting at OMC by Vibratory Roller to meet the requirement of Table-300.2 as per clause 305 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works(5th Revision) complete including cost, conveyance, royalities, taxes of all materials, all labour, hire and running charges of all machineeries, T&P, Sundries etc complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Granular Sub-base with Grading-VI stone screening materials as per Table 400-1 as per approved drawing and technical specifications complete in all respect as per Section 900 and Clause 401 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing dry lean cement concrete sub-base by with coarse and fine aggregates conforming to I:S 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation as per table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/Cum, mixing in concrete mixers with weigh batcher and transporting to work site, laying, spreading and compacting with PRR to the required thickness, finishing and curing as per approved drawing and specification complete in all respect as per Section 900 & Clause 601 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing un-reinforced, dowel jointed cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub base as per approved mix design, using 43grade cement not less than 400kg/cum, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to I:S 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip from paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler,separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per approved drawing and technical specification complete in all respect as per Section 900 & Clause 602 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, filling clean sand of approved quality in road work for construction of drainage layer and foundation trenches of structures in uniform layers, watered and rammed/ compacted as per approved drawing and technical specifications complete in all respect as per Section 900, 2100 and Clause 401 & 304 of MoRT&H specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing weep holes in abutment, wing wall, retaining wall, toe wall and RCC drain etc with 100mm dia A.C. pipe as per approved drawing and technical specifications complete in all respect as per Section 2200 & Clause 2706 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Below Water & Extra time consuming for tidal influence)

Providing and laying of filter media/metal spall backing using 45mm size crushed hard granite stone aggregates to the required thickness with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall of CD works to the full height compacted to a firm condition as per drawing and technical specifications complete in all respect satisfying the requirements laid down in Clause 2504.2.2 and Section 900 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, labour cess, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fabricating and providing Mild steel cylindrical liner of 4mm thick with shoe to the required depth including providing additional stiffener plates of 6 mm thick & 500 mm hight including cutting, bending, welding, transporting, alignment, placing in position and driving to required depth with all labour, labour cess, materials, tools, equipments etc. complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The stiffener shall be measured under this item. In case the soil strata found to be not good in the founding level, extra depth of liner may be provided as per site condition and measurement will be made to this effect.

Pile dia 600mm excluding Reinforcement complete including bailing, flushing the bore bentonite with required density, chiselling, shifting of materials etc as per Drawing and Technical Specifications and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead upto 1000 m complete including cost, conveyance, Royalty, labour, Labour Cess, T&P and all other taxes etc. required to complete the work in all respect as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Supply, fabrication of steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid under relevant item (Rate shall include the cost of providing additional concrete above the cut-off level)
