M&L for calibration and testing of combined inverse time over current and instantaneous IED relay, checking and cleaning / decarburizing its moving and fixed contacts and ensure physical healthiness with visual check for healthy tripping of over current and earth fault, adjusting tripping time, flag setting, ratio setting, instantaneous time setting etc as per installed capacity of transformer to be saved on maximum, short circuit current in accordance with percentage impedance of transformer with artificial current injection on primary side & secondary side with current injection test set on HT Switchgear, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge. Note :- (i) Spares / meters shall be measured and paid separately. The job of calibration & setting shall be done in presence of MES rep / concern JE. Contactor shall provide the necessary test report of calibration done to department before claiming the payment. (ii) Contractor shall provide all testing equipment, T&P and injection kit for testing and creating the artificial fault for testing the proper functionality of relays and instruments on designed settings & unit rate quoted against this item shall be considered to include all these aspects. (iii) Necessary test report of calibration shall be submitted by the contractor to Engr-in-Charge before claiming any payment against this item. (iv) The cost of manpower, HT tape used for opening and reconnecting cable is deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted. (v) The testing shall be carried out by auhtorised service engineer of OEM and approval of the same shall be taken from Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Overhauling/Repair of 11 KV VCB with cleaning of all parts, adjusting contacts, checking epoxy body, drive insulator , spring charge mechanism, locking arrangements tripping coil circuits (closed/open) etc, checking all mechanical operations supporting insulators bush trolley auxiliary contact. Make female contact and check all wiring including minor item required for repair complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The cost of all minor Items like nuts, bolts, spring washers, HT Insulation tapes, petroleum jelly , CTC spray etc is deemed to be included in the unit price.

M&L for Overhauling / Repair of 11 KV VCB Panel with cleaning of all parts, checking & cleaning circuit all busbar spout bushings, CT/PT spout bushings, Busbar cleaning of CT and PT, checking all wiring & rectifying Wiring faults , cleaning metering chamber, applying mono plast compound at busbar joints , fixing up issues with measuring instruments etc including minor item such as nuts, bolts, copper wires, HT insulation tapes etc required for repair complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. All the activities to trace the fault, rectifying & restoring the supply shall be carried out within specific reasonable time as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 2. The cost of required tools (T& P), minor items such as lugs, nuts, bolts, HT insulation tape and safety equipments required for the job shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item & nothing extra shall be paid to contractor by the department on these ground. 3. Safety of manpower deployed for the job is contractor’s responsibility. In case of any accident / Fatal injury, contractor shall be held responsible to settle all claims and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account. 4. The cost of all manpower (any number) for the job is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. 5. The cost of Fault identification by use of fault locator (if needed) is catered in separate Items. 6. Minimum one VCB / RMU technician, one Transformer Technician & one cable Jointer must be available round the clock during rectification process of fault if respective fault occurs.

M&L for detecting HT / LT UG cable faults located in any stretch / depth with sophisticated cable fault locator consisting of microprocessor based pre-locator system, HV surge generator, fault pin point surge wave receiver, cable identification instrument , cable tracer for exact location of under ground cable routes complete all as directed. Note:- The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of arrangement of necessary fault locator equipment, transportation of equipment & charges for service engineer.

Note:- The servicing shall be carried out by auhtorised service engineer of OEM and approval of the same shall be taken from Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & applying silicon High Voltage Insulator coating (Si-COAT 570 RTV) solution using electric airless sprayer to the inside surface of cable chamber alongwith busbar chamber & breaker chamber including all Spout bushings, insulators, CTs complete of 11 KV Indoor VCB panel including all dis-connection & re-connection of cables etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Quantity of solution consumed per VCB panel shall not be less than 3.0 Kg (ii) Each VCB whether I/C or O/G should be treated as one unit.

M&L with replacement of 6mm thick synthetic rubberized cork sheet gasket for top cover, HT/LT bushes for transformer of capacity 100 to 800 KVA including tightening all the bushings and top cover to avoid any oil leakages complete all as specified and directed.

S&F off load tap changer assembly suitable for transformer of capacity upto 800 KVA as per existing with 5 tapping position including opening top cover, conservator etc including taking down existing un-serviceable tap changer complete all as specified and as directed.

Shifting of standby Transformer of any capacity from any sub station to within 5km, closing the transformers for loading into transporting vehicle with the help of crane, transportation to another site, unloading, including disconnecting and removing of existing faulty transformer and installation of standby transformer, making necessary HT/LT connections, earth connections and restoration of power supply including all T&P required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for isolating the HT supply of outdoor type transformer of capacity 100 to 800 KVA, disconnecting HT and LT connections by opening clamps, bus bar extension and isolating the cables, keeping all the cables out from the HT/LT sides, physically checking of transformer for healthiness such as checking pressure release valve, oil condition etc. and performing transformer tests such as HV/LV megger test, ratio test, magnetic balance test, checking the lead condition from winding to bus rods, necessary soldering / jointing etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) All testing shall be done in presence of Engr-in-Charge or his accredited rep and test reports shall be signed by contractor and Engr-in-Charge and kept on record. (ii) If the transsformer found satisfactory then HT/LT connections, assembly etc shall be done by the contractor and transformer shall be charged. (iii) If the transformer fails in these tests then the contractor has to shift the transsformer for winding / overhauling which shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Cost of winding / overhauling if required shall be measured and paid separately. (v) The cost of Transportation of Transformer to & from the workshop if needed is deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted.

M&L for rewinding of distribution transformers of any capacity / size / type by strip opening & rewinding the HV coils (i.e. primary coils) from core assembly safely, removing old defective insulation paper, re-winding the coils with new copper wire as per I.S. of same gauge and existing size together with new insulated materials / bracings before placing in to the transformer and assembling the coil with new DPC insulation and fitting the coils in the chamber, testing and commissioning the transformer and recording the test results complete all as directed. Note: M&L for re-insulation of serviceable coils will be measured & paid separately under relevant items.

M&L for re-insulating windings of HT / LT distribution transformers of capacity 100 to 750 KVA by strip opening of HT / LT coils (i.e. Primary / secondary coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the HT / LT coils (i.e. Primary / secondary coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper and replacing with new DPC insulation to the copper conductor, re-varnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating, drying, backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as directed by Engr-in- charge.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to earth lead of galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point including dismantling un-serviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed. Supply and topping up of transformer oil with di-electric strength not less than 60 KV in 2.5mm rod gap into the conservator tank / body tank of the transformer / OCB / FRMUs etc at various locations complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
