APPENDIX A- VARIOUS ROADS UNDER KRFB KASARAGOD

55.4:Supplying and stacking 36mm size hard broken stone in standard heaps for measurement.

55.2:Supplying and stacking 12mm hard blue granite broken stone in standard heaps for measurement(IRC 3.2.1.a)

55.8.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 36mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

55.9.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 12mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

5.2.b:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared Granular Surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

2.5.2.A:Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately<br> Bituminous course - By Mechanical Means<br>

3.25.A:Construction of unlined surface drain of average cross sectional area 0.4 sqm in ordinary rock by Mechanical Means to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions as per approved design and to the requirement of clause 301 to 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment at site

4.1.A.2:Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with a motor grader on the prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 Grading-II - Plant Mix Method

4.12:Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

3.24.A:Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil by mechanical Means to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions to the requirement of clause 301 and 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment within a lead of 50 metres (average lead 25 metres)

OD75686/2024-2025:Engaging mazdoor for cutting branches of trees learned toward the road threatening to pedestrians and traffic and removal of fallen trees or branches on the road and clearing traffic blockage , stacking the wood at a suitable place as directed by the Engineer in charge.

10.3:Maintenance of Earth Shoulder (stripping excess soil) from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor

OD75687/2024-2025:Engaging mazdoor wherever required for the removal of earth and other debris causing chocking of culvert and drains as per direction of Engineering in charge.

OD75688/2024-2025:Hiring in Tipper to shift slipped earth and rock materials to a suitable locations indicated by the department Engineer.

OD75689/2024-2025:Hiring Hydraulic Excavator 1cum bucket capacity to remove slipped earth and rock materials on the roads as per direction of Engineer in charge.

2.3.2.B:Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness In area of thorny jungle - By Mechanical Means

OD75690/2024-2025:Pothole filling during monsoon using cold ready mix bituminous compound (Adequacy 25 Kg (1 Bag) /1sqm of pot hole) including all charges for spreading , ramming and conveyance expenses etc , complete including all incidental charges.
