Completion of incomplete work for Augmentation of Drainage System at Ship s Stadium (Bldg No. P-382) at INS Valsura, Jamnagar

Notes for all items of Schedule ‘A’ :- The balance left over items of the work are to be completed under this Contract. The tenderer should visit site of work to ascertain the exact condition of site and quantum of balance work for all items mentioned in this Schedule and quote his rates accordingly. The tenderer(s) are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings before quoting of this BOQ. Any type of vehicle is not allowed through the Stadium. Tenderer’s attention is invited to the Site Condition wherein special care shall be required to avoid damage to the existing synthetic track/structure/construction/building etc during the execution of this work. Any damage to the existing track/ structure/ construction/ building etc during the execution of work shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. The quoted rates in this BOQ shall deemed to be inclusive of all these factors. No extra payment consequent on any mistake or misunderstanding or otherwise on this account will be allowed. The tenderer shall be deemed to have inspected the site(s) and made themselves familiar with the site & working conditions, whether they have actually inspected the site(s) or not.

Excavating over areas, not exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified & as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, drains, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil (i.e. soft/ loose or hard/ dense soil) complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance exceeding 1.5 km but not exceeding 5 km and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stops, coved fillets and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for precast RCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes, drains etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including placing in position and set in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this Schedule.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel upto 45 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred, stopped, ends etc complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for stone/ boulders filling dry, handpacked tightly as in filter media at the back wall/ Weep holes/ drain mouths, etc and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber rings joints/ solvent cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors, complete all as specifed & as directed.
