SCHEDULE "A" PART - I [CIVIL WORKS]
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for deck slab, beam & pile cap etc with dimond cutter/mechanical method carefully without disturbing the existing structure including necessary provision to retain the demolished materials over sea surface and removal of demolished material out of MOD n.exc 15 Km distance complete all as specified and as directed.
Material & labour for drilling or boring for 1000mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles, through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by drilling fluid or by casing pipes and disposal of drilling/bored materials to a distance exc 10 Km but not exc 15 Km and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point at a designated place as approved by GVMC and including setting up and installation of jackup platform/ pantoon/ gantry/ rigs/ working platform etc and connected equipments/ arrangement etc including transportation of material etc from land to work site, dismantling the existing structure and making good, other constraints etc to complete the work all as specified and as directed.
All as per Item No.1.02 here-in-before but through hard rock for founding minimum depth 1.5 metre for 1000mm dia.
Notes for Item Nos. 1.02 and 1.03:- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/sea bed level/river bed top (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste /drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises at a designated place all as specified and as directed and at designated place as approved by GVMC. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the building/Jetty (iii) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (iv) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in particular specification. (v) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required. (vi) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of mobilisation/ demobilisation of suitable gantry/jackup/barge/access etc with all connected facilities required for execution of piling work / completion of the work in sea bodies as per Schedule "A" note. 37
Carrying out initial load tests on test piles as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method including compressive strength including construction of new working test pile & cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. as specified and as directed by GE and submission of reports for a test load of 2000 KN in non-working areas in the vicinity, including the cost of new piles for 1000mm dia with specification as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock 1.5D (Where D is dia of pile) etc complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for reinforced cement concrete pre cast pile muffs , beams & planks etc of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded crushed granite stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, includes the feeding, mixing, formwork, shifting and placing of pre cast units loading of material from stock yard and shifting to location, errection with alignment in true position complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for providing 100 mm thick cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) (using 20mm graded crushed granite stone aggregate) for weathering coat including mixing, laying, compacting with vibrators, finishing etc complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for applying protective painting for concrete surface (anti carbonation paint ) with one coat of primer and two coats of paint deck guard S paint manufactured by FOSROC, BASF, SIKA on well prepared concrete surface side and bottom complete total dry thickness shall not be less than 150 microns of each coat or as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for reinforced cement concrete (Ready mix concrete) by design mix M-40 grade (Using 20mm graded crushed granite stone aggregate) as in bore holes using portland slag cement and admixture CONPLAST SP- 430 A2 or equivalent for piles in tremie method including necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded crushed granite stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, pile caps, suspended floor beams & slabs, plinth protection, basement slabs, under reamed piles etc. using portland slag cement and handling, conveyance, errection with alignment in true position complete all as specified and as directed.
All as per item No. 1.10 here-in-before but as in columns, Pillars, piers, vertical bands/walls, posts and struts etc.
Notes for item Nos. 1.06, 1.10 and 1.11:- (i) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/Cum. of concrete for all works for M-40 using portland slag cement with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent). (ii) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000. Maximum size of aggregate shall not exceed 20 mm and slump shall be 50mm to 100mm and maximum water cement ratio 0.4. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include for interalia for preliminary design mix and works test cubes. iv) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately. (v) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given no extra payment will be made. (vi) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks not be used
Chipping of laitance concrete in piles above cut off level upto a maximum of 1m from cut off level and disposal to distance of exc. 5.0Km but n. exc. 15.0Km and depositing where directed.
Use and waste of steel formwork to sides of concrete foundations, pile caps, footings, bases of columns, rafts and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work vertical or to batter for fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Use and waste of steel form work to sides of pillars, posts, columns (Square, rectangular, polygonal or 'L' shaped) for fair finished surfaces of concrete flat complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of steel or steel based surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for providing and installing MS liner for bored cast-in-situ concrete piles with necessary stiffeners , driving shoe with continuous welding including cutting, bending welding etc. confirming to Fe-410W, Gde E-250 Quality A complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Rate shall be inclusive of cutting the liner at cut off level. The rate is deemed to include for cutting, removal and salvage value of the material so obtained. (ii) MS liner shall be driven upto refusal level the occurrence of refusal level will be decided by GE at site based on visual inspection of bailer samples from pile bore hole, past experience and laboratory test result. The decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (iii) MS liner will be measured and paid up to the cut off level of pile only. Additional MS liner if used for convenience of construction shall be included in the rates quoted. Nothing shall be paid separately on this account. (vi) Necessary welding test to be carried out as per IS code before incorporation in the work.
M&L for reinforcement in any situation using Corrosion resistant TMT steel bars of grade Fe-500D, 10mm dia. and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia. or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item No. 1.17 here-in-before but 5mm dia. and over upto and including 12mm dia. as in stirrups, spacers and binders complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F rolled mild steel framed work as in grills, gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders framed balusters, walk ways raillings framed work of water tanks, girder/beams and similar works confirming to Gde E-165 (Fe-290) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
S & F mild steel plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250 quality A) complete all as specified and as directed the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for mild steel bolts for purpose made with hexagonal or squarehead one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends;each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square n. exc 30cm long and 20 to 25 mm dia including necessary drilling, inserting in the wall and grouted with chemical of M/s Hilti or its equivalent as approved by GE all as specified and as directed.
M&L for applying two coats of marine epoxy paint, total dry thickness shall not be less than 150 microns of each coat on new steel surfaces over a coat of epoxy primer as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and fixing in position of Cast iron Bollard, 30ton capacity as per drawing or as per manufacturer catalogue and approved by the GE including grouting in cement concrete, filling and mixing with necessary holding down anchor bolts, nuts, washers,plate etc and mild steel tube sleeve medium grade preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of bituminous paint (wherever required) as per manufacturers specification suitable to marine works (jetty) and carrying out pullout test at site for each bollards by authorised agency & submission of report including dismantling of existing bollards of any size and capacity and making good existing surface complete all as specified and as directed Engineer-in-Charge.
S&F cast iron roller 30ton capacity as per drawing or as per manufacturer catalogue and approved by the GE including grouting in cement concrete, filling and fixing with necessary holding down anchor bolts, nuts, washers, plate etc and preparation of surfaces and applying two coat bituminous paint suitable to marine works (jetty) complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F anchor fastsner HDA-TR-M20 (L-250/50) of M/s Hilti make or its equivalent as approved by GE including drilling, inserting all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F anchor bolt HST-HCR-M16 (L-165/50) of M/s Hilti make or its equivalent as approved by GE including drilling, inserting all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for drilling holes in concrete work 20 mm dia in existing beams, column and slab etc by hammer drilling upto a depth of 500 mm for inserting 16 mm dia steel bar in position and grouted with including HIT RE 500 of M/s Hilti make or its equivalent as approved by GE as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed. Note: S&F of Steel bars shall be measured and paid separately under relavent item
Dismantling of existing Mild Steel louvres/structural steel with complete frame work for each louvers of any size n.exc 8 meter length for ease and n.exc 2000kg weight of each louvers for piling work, with prior approval of GE and user, shifting to land side and refixing in position after completion of boring/piling work and making good matching with the existing structure complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Any additional steel member required for refixing/making good will be measured and paid seperatly in respective items.
S&F of stainless steel pipe as in railing of 40mm dia and 2 mm thickness of SS 316 grade complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling of existing pipe of any dia.

SCHEDULE "A" PART - II [EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION]
Supply and fixing hot dip galvanised perforated type, factory made cable tray of size 300mm width x 75 mm height and 2 mm thick complete with coupling plates, bends and clamps for fixing cables on the tray including nut, bolts and washers and other fixing materials as required at site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per item No. 2.3 here-in-before but 3.5 core 120 Sqmm cable.
M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead 25 x 4mm strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I including excavation/earth work in any strata, adequate quantity of charcoal and common salt, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 40mm thick cover slab with suitable handle and angle iron frame of suitable size to fix the cover, with 20mm bore GI pipe light grade for watering with funnel, wire mesh and 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade for GI strip protection and 25 x 4mm earth strip including testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Earth strip will be measured after 7.5mtr from the earth pit or earth testing terminal block whichever is lesser under relevant item.
M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI strip 25 x 4 mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge
M&L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat of red oxide primer, one under coat and finishing coat of paint for fixing of cable all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge
