Engaging skilled Plumber cum supervisor (Male only) with necessary tools and miscellaneous minor fittings such as Telxon tape, washers, jumper valves etc for attending the day to day complaints , minor repair works, fixing /replacing the damaged fittings such as taps/ wash basins, EWC/IWC, flushing cisterns, Replacing damaged PVC/GI pipe lines, PVC rain water pipes and fittings, pumping water to the Hospital buildings and staff quarters including cleaning service tanks ,minor repairing and maintenance of Pumps and periodic chlorination of open wells etc all works connected with internal/ external water supply lines, water supply fittings/ fixtures, sanitary installations, under ground sumps/ OHT, Plumbing works connected with STP etc to ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. during 2021-22 as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Engaging helper to plumber for attending complaints on sewer/drainage lines, removing blockage in Drainage/ sewer lines, Gully traps, Manholes and Septic tanks etc. to ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. during 2021-22 and other works entrusted to Beldars when works assigned as sewer man are free and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

One helper to plumber in one shift from 9 AM to 5 PM on all days excluding Sundays or any one off day per week.

Engaging helper (Male Mazdoor) for assisting plumber/Carpenter/mason/ Aluminium Fabricator/ welder and other similar trades-men in attending the day to day complaints of all sorts of Internal water supply/External water supply/sanitary installations, Assisting carpenter in repair works, cleaning open area in campus, Assisting sewer man in clearing blockages/ clearing silting storm water drains including removing and replacing RCC covers, removing growth of baniyan tree on buildings, cleaning Terrace water tanks, Over head tanks, underground sumps and cutting/Pruning branches of trees up to 20 cm in diameter etc to ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. during 2021-22 (Note: Beldar is not to be specifically attached with any skilled worker and suppose to attend all woks assigned to him and as directed by the Engineer in charge)

Engaging Skilled Carpenter/mason/ Aluminium Fabricator/ welder/other similar trades men with necessary tools and miscellaneous fittings such as screws ,nails, rawl plugs, wooden gutties etc and sleeves etc in attending complaints regarding all steel/wooden/Aluminium doors, windows /partitions to ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. during 2021-22 as directed by the Engineer in charge.

In one shift from 9 AM to 5 PM on daily basis as and when required by the Engineer in charge.

Cleaning of septic tank of size up to 5 x2x 2 m including removing and refixing the cover slab , fully de sludging and emptying the tank either manually or by truck mounted sucking units including disposing the sludge either to the Municipal dumping yard o locally by making earth pits and refilling with earth etc complete as directed by the Engineer inn charge. (A photograph of cleaned septic tank bottom shall be provided along with the bill for payment).

Clearing jungle Mechanically with JCB or similar machinery including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level including dressing the surface/filling the undulation etc and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared. (Cutting shall be done on prior approval and necessary certificate after finishing the cutting work each time shall be obtained from the concerned ESI Office.)

Clearing Bushes grass brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared. (Cutting shall be done on prior approval and necessary certificate after finishing the cutting work each time shall be obtained from the concerned ESI Office.)

Cutting branches of trees of the girth (measured 1 m from stem), including cutting of trunks and branches, and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.

Beyond 30 cm up to 60 cm girth. (above 6 mtr height)

Beyond 60 cm girth up to 120 cm.

Application of cement slurry/punning at 2 kg per sqm area of surface to get a good bond between the prepared surface and screed concrete/glass fibre cloth etc. complete to be applied for water proofing treatment works etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer- In-Charge.

Providing and applying Cementitious Acrylic Slurry for water proofing treatment to the RCC structures like Roof slabs, retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, podiums,reservoir, sewage and water treatment plant,tunnels/ subway etc. complete as per the following operations: (1). Prepare cementitious Acrylic Slurry by mixing 4 liters acrylic copolymer emulsion {Liquid component of fosrac Brush bond or equivalent) in the ratio of 4:4 ( 4 liters of acrylic copolymer emulsion: 4 liters of water} (2) This liquid solution further to be mixed with 23 kg of powder component of Fosrac Brush bond or equivalent, stirred well and intimately mixed to prepare the Cementitious Acrylic Slurry (3). This intimately mixed Cementitious Acrylic Slurry shall be applied with synthetic / fibre brushes over already applied cement slurry on the surface to be treated in two or more coats coats described in the following steps: (a) cleanig the surface with water jet/ wire brushes to remove loose particles and fungus growth etc. including wetting the surface on the day of application of cementitious acrylic slurry (b) 1st coat of cementitious acrylic slurry to be applied {at @ 1.10 kg per sqm for horizontal surface and and 1.40 kg per sqm for vertical surfaces} duly filling cracks with FOSROC compond and air cured (c) Spreading of Fibre glass cloth evenly on the surface without any kink & pressed to see that no air spaces exist. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm. The entire fibre glass treatment will be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet wherever exists. (d) After laying of fibre glass cloth, the stiff mixture of cement (@ 2kg per sqm area) slurry mixed with proprietary water proofing material shall be applied and air cured for 12 hours and water cured for 24 hours (f) The final layer of SBR polymer modified cement mortar which will be paid for separately. (The treatment shall carry a performance guarantee against any leakage for 10 years after completion of treatment).

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge including finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300 x 300 mm square 3 mm deep. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/ tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).

Extra for providing and mixing SBR Polymer water proofing material in cement concrete / plastering works in doses by weight of cement as per manufacturer's specification.

In-filling / sealing of joint between RCC lintel cum sunshade and wall (on external side) in all floors by pushing in Grout RW/equivalent in paste form and coving 20 mm x 20 mm after applying a coat of Zycosil/ equivalent & zycoprime /equivalent solution before cement plastering of top, bottom and sides of RCC sunshade.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
