REPAIR OF ALTERNATOR AND CONNECTED MISC WORKS OF DG SETS 500 KVA AND 750 KVA AT TP AREA AT INS KALINGA, BHEEMUNIPATNAM, VISAKHAPATNAM

Dismantling of defective alternator from DG Set of capacity 500 KVA by opening coupling shaft and taking out carefully rotor and windings by disconnecting the internal connections. Removing carbon bushes, replacement of unseviceable bushes, nuts & bolts, cutting the burnt winding and re-winding the same with suitable size of super enameled copper wire as per existing gauge insulating the winding connection by using fire proof sleeve and fire proof tape, varnishing the coil, keeping the coils in Sun light/ oven for removing moisture, painting of Alternator body outside, make, MES/SM No etc, and including refixing the alternator with engine with proper alignment of coupling and shaft, and connecting electric connections internal and external properly, making the all connections with suitable copper lugs, meggering the alternator, testing the load of alternator and including following complete all as specified and directed :- Make : Stamford.

(a) Rewinding material for main rotor winding with class H insulation and dynamic. (b) Replacement of AVR Model Part No F6.814.11.0.00 (c) Replacement of Rotating rectifier Part No KV8.801.14.0.00 (d) Rewinding material for main stator winding with class 'H' insulation (e) Rewinding material for Exciter stator with class 'H' Insulation (f) Rewinding material for Exciter rotor with class 'H' Insulation (g) Replacement of NDE Bearing (h) Checking & re-varnishing of main field (Stator) and exciter stator unit winding and dynamic balancing and dismantling and assembling of the alternator (j) Transportation of Alternator from site to Workshop and returned back from workshop to Hangar site and proper alignment with the DG set with the help of Hydra machine for lifting purpose at the time of dismantling and assembling of the alternator.

Note:- The quoted rate is deemed to be included for the following :- (i) Contractor is required to submit test report for repaired alternator duly signed by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Necessary load test be carried out in presence of Engr-in-Charge and T & P required for the job is included.
