Amount

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for laying of pipes etc and getting out including cutting of grass and bushes complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation shall be carried out manually use of JCB for excavation in trenches will not be allowed in any case. 2. Any damage to existing underground electric cable HT/LT, Fiber Optic cable and pipe line shall be repair/make good by the contractor within 24 hours of the damage failing which double to the amount for repair/replacement shall be recovered from the contractor. No extra charges for making good of damage are admissible to the contractor from the department.

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well remming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.
