Attending any type of breakdown in machinery of Mechanical Laundry, STP, Incinerator, DM Plant installed at various location inside Naval Base Kochi for detection of nature of defect including carry out minor repairs, loose connection, change small length of wire as required size to make the machine functional, opening of switch board and refixing the same after necessary repair, etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the elements of labour only for rectifying and making the machine functional for minor repair. If replacements of parts / items is required to make the equipment/machine functional the cost of labour and material for the same shall be measured and paid for as " Supply & Fix / Material & Labor in repairs" under relevant items of this schedule hereinafter. (b) If breakdown shall not be attended & rectified in the same day as received by the contractor except rewinding of Motor and other major spares as specified, the recovery will be made @ Rs 500/- per breakdown per day and after 15 days of nonfunctional of any machine as specified for any reason the recovery will be made @ Rs 2500/- per day till the machine operational.

Material & Labour for disconnecting and dismantling of electric motor of 10 HP capacity from the washer machine 60 Kg, strip opening the unserviceable motor at site to located the fault and transporting to the local work shop. Strip opening the motor and cutting/removing burnt out winding and rewinding the motor with as per existing original wire gauge super enameled copper wire including high quality ‘F’ class insulating material with heat resistant sleeves, sealing compound and varnishing and heating the stator up to varnish fully dry and testing the motor at work shop to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Re-fix the motor with machine and installed at site as per existing position. Testing the machine after completion of work all as specified.

Providing an inspection of OEM of STP Capacity 30 KLD at NIAT (80 CPOs/50 POs Accn ) OTM Complex near Vikrant Block and checking the functionality and submitting the recommendation for further maintenance complete all as specified and directed.

Testing of Raw/Treated sewage water sample parameter of STP through a NABL approved lab all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repair Silica Quartz sand with pebbles of multi grade sand filter as per the existing filter media of size 14 X 65 inch after taking out the old sand complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for scrubbing, cleaning thoroughly sludge from the Sludge Drying Beds of size 2.40 X 2.40 X .30 and deposit the sludge/effluent outside the defence land complete all as specified at both Installation including applying two coats of lime wash inside the wall surface of the tanks and writing the words " DATE OF CLEANING" in capital letters of suitable size on outside visible place of tank with synthetic enamel paint (white over black back ground including cleaning of outside surfaces complete all as specified.Note: Rate quoted shall deem to include the cost of vehicle arrangement for sludge collection by the contractor.

Material & Labour in repair oil servicing and Over hauling of air blower 3.7 KW /1450 RPM of capacity 68 M3 /Hour roots type twin lobe of any Make installed at STP by taking shunt down with prior intimation and cleaning, tightening the control cables , Checking electrical connections of blower to ensure the smooth functioning by employing the Skilled trades man and helper all as specified

Supply & Fix in repair 50 mm dia CPVC pipes, SDR-13.5 & plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings, fixed on wall/concealed in wall /laid in trench /floor with all fittings, solvents including taking down old GI pipe complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for scrubbing, cleaning thoroughly for removing the dirt, sediments, silts , and sludge, untreated effluent etc from the Sewage Collection Tank (UG sump ) bottom & wall of capacity 30,000 Litres by using brushes and by using the water jet with help of machines and other cleaning materials as required including removing the sludge/waste water complete by using external sludge pumps, Sludge De-watering by using external waste water sludge / effluent tankers and deposit the sludge / effluent outside the defence land complete including taking out existing submersible pump from sump while cleaning and install the same after cleaning with necessary tools complete and applying two coats of lime wash inside the wall surface of the tanks including writing the words " DATE OF CLEANING" in capital letters of suitable size on outside visible place of UG sump with synthetic enamel paint (white )over black back ground including cleaning of outside surfaces by using the water jet and wire brush and apply two coats of colour washing (colour should be light yellow) of outside surface of UG sump complete all as specified. Note: - Rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of vehicle arrangement for sludge collection by the contractor.

Material & Labour for Framed work of grade Fe 410 W (grade -E- 250) as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, support frame for pumps, ladders inside the sumps etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors/ paving/ Hard standing below/above ground level complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in road cutting/floor cutting etc complete all as specified.

Cleaning / removing dirts / oil from the surface of the motor and pumps / compressor of any capacity at STP OTM Complex and Painting with one coat of super synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed.
