SCHEDULE 'A'

M&L for rough excavation in soft and loose soil not exceeding 1.50m in depth and getting out soil by using pneumatic plant and machinery with all precautionery measures during excavation all as specified and directed

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Hard/Dense soil complete all as specified

M&L for Plain Cement concrete 1:4:8 (type D-2) ( using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified

M&L for Brick work with fly ash modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

S&F 150 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes as in wheep holes complete all as specified

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified

Removing excavated material exc. 250 m but n exc. 500 m and depositing where directed complete all as specified

Forming embankments/ filled in low lying area including raising (or lowering) earth spreading in layers n. exc 30 cm thick, watering ramming / rolling and finishing to required size, shape etc n. exc 1.5 m high from the base complete all as specified

Rolling and consolidating of surfaces in filling, raising of formation etc. in layers by power roller exc 8 tonne & n. exc 12 tonne complete all as specified

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base of floor / paths etc complete all as specified

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified

M&L for machine dressed/cut cobble stones of any shpe and size confirming to 75 - 80 mm thickness and 75/100 mm width fixed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m and making good disturbed surfaces.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete.

S&F mild steel work such as angle iron in posts & struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including 10mm dia MS round bars as in tie bars fixed to fencing posts including necessary welding where required as per site requirement and other similar works complete, conforming to Gde E-165 (Fe 290).

S&F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured)

M & L for preparing new steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer of approved shade complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note:- 1. All initial levels and final levels of earth work shall be taken and recorded by DGPS /Auto level/Total station system as recommended and all earthwork calculations shall be made computerised with graphical details as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2. Soil to be removed through powred /mechanical lorry/ tractors and to be placed in loc where directed by Engr-in-Charge and rolled/ consolidating by 8-12 tonne power road rollers 3. All precautionery measured to be adopted at the time of execution and removal of work.
