CWE/CHD-105/2025-26 SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD AND PATH FROM BUILDING No 213 TO 345 AT MIL STATION NAHAN UNDER GE CHANDIGARH

M&L for Preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specifed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bitumenous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specifed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bitumenous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exceeding 50mm and not exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/ WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specifed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bituminous concrete (BC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer confirming to clause 507 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler with 5.4 % binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen contact, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type) of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher ......Contd..

M&L for Providing, laying & Compaction of bituminous, macadam (BM) compacted thickness not exceeding 75 mm thick conforming to clause 504 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridges works (Fifth Revision) using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MoRT&H specification for Road and Bridges work (Fifth revision) Premixed with bituminious binder bitumen grade VG-30 @3.4% (percent by weight of total mix) prepared in batch type Hot Mix Plant transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Repair to pot holes of any depth, not exceeding 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of Bituminous road surfaces and marking 2.5 mm thick, white/ yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, conforming to BS standards 3262 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechnical engine driven machine, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) of width not exceeding 10 cm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye/solar stud, aluminum alloy shell (100% water proofing design of size 125 mm x 125 mm x 25 mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufacturer's instructions etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair solar road Delineator having LEDs of colours red/green, solar cell, battery and light sensor housed in a Plastic Body, well protected with powder coated anti theft wire mesh cage, LEDs shall be multifunction (flash-stable-close), system workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge in 8-10 hours, system mounted over 50/ 60 mm dia powder coated steel tube of length 1000 mm having sheet foot for firm grip to ground, including embedding in PCC Block (size 150 x 150 x 300 mm) 1:2:4 type B-1 including necessary excavation work in post holes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in sub base, path, floor, hard standing, finished even and rough without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Hardcore of broken bricks of gauge not exceeding 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing, cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1, (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges or packing sides of interlocking tiles etc. including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
