Replacement / repair of damaged conveyor belt and replacement of Motor / gear boxes at Q10 site W. Island, FACT - CD.

Replacement of Conveyor Belts at Q-10 Berth W.Island. The Works Involves decoupling the drive of conveyor belt to be replaced .Removing the Old/Damaged /Dislocated conveyor belt by pulling , after providing clamp, lifting & arresting the gravity assembly. place/position the new/reusable dislocated belt. Tighten well with the help of chain block attaching to clamp. After tightening arrest the belt by providing clamps. Make arrangements for splicing of joint , like removing necessary idler frames , providing flat plywood piece/any flat solid sheet under the belt for splicing and joining the belt. After splicing and getting clearance remove clamps, fix back the idler frames ,remove plywood sheets ,release gravity assembly, couple the drive . Correct the belt sways while taking trial run. Scrap belts to be cut and rolled into small bundles as per instruction Remove scrap belts to Q-10 Scrap yard. The length of conveyor belt varies from 5Mtrs to 400 Mtrs. Belt width varies from 750mm to 1200mm.

Making arrangements for new splicing Joints. Lifting & arresting the gravity assembly , tighten the belt to get slack length ,cut and remove the damaged portion , arrest the belt by providing clamps , add additional quantity of belt if required up to 10mtrs ,make arrangements for splicing of joint , like removing necessary idler frames , providing flat plywood piece/any flat solid sheet under the belt for splicing and joining the belt on a flat surface. After splicing and getting clearance remove clamps, fix back the idler frames ,remove plywood sheets ,release gravity assembly, couple the drive .Correct the belt sways while taking trial run. Scrap belts to be cut and rolled into small bundles as per instruction. Remove scrap belts to Q-10 Scrap yard. The length of conveyor belt varies from 5Mtrs to 400 Mtrs. Loosening the foundation bolts, and decoupling. Lowering the Motor from position to ground. Transport to Electrical W/S. Assistance for dismantling and fixing the coupling, transport the New / Serviced Motor to site. Lifting and positioning the Motor to its foundation. Assistance for alignment and coupling. After the work removing the lifting, lowering arrangement.

Replacement of Gearbox / Motor for the Conveyors P3A, P3B, P6, P5A, P5B at Q-10 site. Work involves: Collection of tools and tackles, transport the same to site, arrangements for lifting and lowering the Gear Box / Motor. Dismantle the gearbox / Motor from the foundation after loosening the foundation bolts, and decoupling. Lowering the gearbox / Motor from position to ground. Transport to Mechanical / Electrical W/S. Assistance for dismantling and fixing the coupling, transport the New / Serviced gearbox / Motor to site. Lifting and positioning the gearbox / Motor to its foundation. Assistance for alignment and coupling.

Replacement of Gear box for the conveyors S1, S2, S3 & P4 at Q-10 site. Work involves: Collection of tools and tackles, transport the same to site, arrangements for lifting and lowering the Gear Box. Loosening the foundation bolts, and decoupling. Lower the gearbox from position to ground. Transport to Mechanical W/S. Assistance for dismantling and fixing the coupling, transport the New / Serviced Gear Box to site. Lifting and positioning the gearbox to its foundation. Assistance for alignment and coupling. After the work dismantling the lifting, lowering arrangements and transport to required location. Finally site cleaning.
