GEOTECHNICAL SURVEY

1. Charges towards erection and dismantling of barricades at borehole locations including the barricading materials, labour, fixing etc. completed keeping in view the movement of traffic at ground level and minimum inconvenience to traffic and safety of public and as directed by the Engineer at site.

2. Drilling 150mm dia borehole using rotary drilling rig, conducting standard penetration tests, collecting disturbed and undisturbed soil sample for carrying out necessary laboratory tests (includes drilling in all type of soils, hard strata and gravel strata and in all types of weathered rock).

3. Following tests are to be carried out for Soil for each borehole & samples to be collected at 3m interval and change of strata (a) For Disturbed soil samples I. Bulk Density

II. Moisture Content

III. Sieve Analysis

IV. Hydrometer analysis for clayey soil

V. Liquid limit

VI. Plastic limit

VII. Specific gravity

VIII. Consolidation test for clayey soil
