Note :- Cleaning of tank shall be done through a mechanise water cleaning system for all srl items 03.00 to 09.00 above of Schedule only. Cleaning process as under :- (i) Dewatering of over head tank by drain out pipe (ii) Mechanized removel of all remaining dirty water by high capacity pump set. (iii) Removel of sludge by vacum operated pump. (iv) cleaning of wall,ceiling of and bottem of tank by high pressure rotary jet 120 bars pressure (v) Removal of all dirty particles by Industrial Wet Vacuume cleaner leaving the tank 99.9% physically cleaned. (vi) Sterilization of tank by eco- Friendly biodegradable and highly effective anti bacterial non toxic agent approved By NTC (National Toxicology Center) against all pathogens agent of tank clean. (vii) All the sludge material/Fungus removed from the underground sump/semi underground sump and over head tank will be removed outside the defence land from the site. (viii) All T & P required for the cleaning of tank/Sumps will be arrange by the contractor. (ix) The work will be got executed from the reputed specialized water tank cleaner as approved by GE. (x) Writing with bold letters such as "TANK CLEANED ON ----- --- ---2023/24" and next due date --- --- 2024 cleaning of the tank by synthetic enamel paint. (xi) The cost of the same shall be deemed included in the respective items.

Preperation of old outer/external surface of RCC overhead tank (OHT) of 50,000 gallons capacity including staging and connected items such as inlet, outlet, overflow pipes, sluice valves, NRV, Air valves, gate valves, MS articles such as bracing/brackets etc, ladders, grills, and all other connected items within the fencing of OHT and applying with two coats of exterior emulsion paint (Apex) including staging (Columns + beams) and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all the steel and iron surface articles such as inlet/outlet, overflow pipes and connected valves brackets etc. Work to be carried out upto 15.2mtr height complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The work will be got executed from the reputed specialized water tank painters as approved by GE. (ii) Preparation includes rubbing, scrapping, filling of putty and repair to minor cracks/joints with cement plaster, seal bond chemicals etc. (iii) Required T&P shall be contractor's own arrangement. (iv) Writing with bold letters such as "SAVE WATER, SAVE LIFE " and write in hindi words "जल ही जीवन है" of the middle portion of tank by synthetic enamel paint in blue/green colours. (v) Labour risk cost / insurance shall be done by the contractor / specialized agency. (vi) The cost of the same shall be deemed included in the respective items.

M & L for cleaning on roof top, disconnection of delivery pipe, float valve of service tank, opening up of drain plug, cleaning thoroughly by brushing, internal star faces, removing all scale and dirt, flushing out with fresh water, connecting back in position writing with white bold letters such as “CLEANED ON’ – -- -- 2023/24” all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L Surface dressing n.exc (not exceeding) 15 cm deep and averaging 7.5cm deep and getting out in loose/soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

Opening, dismantling, decoupling and taking out defective parts of water pressure pump set (Pump + Motor + saner) of capacity 1.0 HP from the base, transporting to work shop, trace out defects and taking out and replace of the u/s parts from the pressure pump set, metling, grinding, lathing work as required to make as per original shape and size and fixing the new parts as required complete all as specified and directed

Lifting of submerssible pump set of any cap from borewell carefully with coloumn pipe of size upto 150/200 mm dia flanged/socketed MS/GI,3 mtr each length (20 to 30 Nos of pipe) along with existing submerssible electric cable and shifting the pipe aside for reuse as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Lowering of submerssible pump set of any cap into the borewell carefully with coloumn pipe of size upto 150/200 mm dia flanged/socketed MS/GI,3 mtr each length( 20 to 30 Nos of pipe),along with existing submerssible electric cable binding with GI/Al wire including making joint to submerssible cable all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: - Rubber gasket, jointing material, nut,bolts,washers shall be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for preparation of old surface on ceiling including brooming down or steel wire brushing scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots making the surface even and smooth and applying one coat of white wash on old decorated surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old surface of wall including brooming down or steel wire brushing scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots making the surface even and smooth and applying one coat of white wash on old decorated surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE before application of distemper for each building. (v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE. (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the BIS specifications shall be followed.
