RAISING HEIGHT OF OFC CABLE MANHOLE CHAMBERS AT VARIOUS ROUTES IN DEHRADUN CITY (UKD).

Sub-Head : Concrete Work

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Sub-Head : Reinforced Cement Concrete

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Sub-Head : Steel Work

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Sub-Head : Miscellaneous

Replacing of damaged or missing OFC manhole chamber cover of size 0.4mx1.2m from existing OFC Manhole chambers with manhole opening size of 1.6mx1.2m including removing of existing damaged precast manhole cover, fixing of frame made from MS angle 150X150X10 mm and bottom of MS sheet 1.5 mm thick welded to the frame, concreting with RCC 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement : 1.5 Coarse Sand : 3 Graded Stone Agrregate 20mm nominal size) & neat cement punning with TMT reinforcement bars of dia 12mm placed at 100 mm centre to centre both ways at top & bottom as per approved design and placing it back all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate includes all material & labour involved for the required work including curing & disposal of malba beyond municipal limits.

Raising top level of OFC manhole chamber (of outer size 1.9m x 1.5m) by approximately 300 mm to match road level including raising level of top covers of size 1.6mx1.2m ( 4 nos pieces of size 0.40 m X 1.20 m ) from existing level including dismantling existing RCC base frame, providing reinforcement ( 3 nos 12mm dia longitudinal bars & 10mm dia distribution bars at 150 mm centre to centre all around ) as per approved design including welding reinforcement bars with existing manhole chamber existing reinforcement bars wherever required , necessary centering shuttering, concreting with RCC 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement : 1.5 Coarse Sand : 3 Graded Stone Aggregate 20mm nominal size) with neat cement punning all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate includes complete job including necessary liasoning with local authorities and traffic police for execution of work, hiring of welding machine & water tanker and all other material & labour and locating the OFC Manhole chambers, cutting bituminous/cement concrete or any other type of pavement, making necessary arrangement for diversion of traffic by erecting barricading and safety bollards, provision of warning lamps at night, necessary manpower for day/night traffic diversion and watch & ward, making slope with cement concrete 1:1.5:3 ( for edge protection with bituminous/Cement Concrete to raised portion, refixing of the man hole covers in new location, clearing all malba from site to nearest municipal dump, curing for the required period etc. ( Noting :- The labour engaged in barricading , diversion of traffic , lifting of manhole covers and refixing / replacing the same making slope with RCC 1:1.5:3 with existing road level and disposal of malba shall be paid for separately)

Add / Deduct for additional / lesser height by 1 cm below/above 30 cm from existing top level of OFC Chamber as adopted in the above main item of raising top of OFC manhole chamber ( of overall size 1.9m x 1.5 m) all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charger . ( Note :- Overall depth of all chambers shall be measured and plus/ minus in height (+ / -) shall be considered)

Provision of barricading , bollards for diversion of traffic , signing boards , labour for lifting of manhole covers and refixing / replacing and disposal of malba for repairing / raising height of OFC manhole chambers, arranging welding machine wherever required all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. ( Note :- Raising of manhole work shall be paid for separately )

Credit for dismantled unserviceable material

Old dismantled steel sections/ reinforcement bars and alike.
