1 Site Development Clearing and Grubbing Road Land Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201. (II) By Mechanical Means (A) In area of non-thorny jungle

Excavation in Soil with Dozer with lead upto 100 m Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 m, including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections.

Compacting Original Ground (ii) Compacting original ground supporting subgrade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Technical Specification Clause 303.5.2.

Granular sub-base/base/surface course with local materials (Table 400.13) by mix in place method normal. Construction of granular sub-base by providing local material spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at once and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Clause 401.4 as per Technical Specification Clause 408. (ii)Using Gravel mix soil.

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406. By Mechanical Means with 1 km lead

Turfing with Sods Furnishing and laying of the live sods of perennial turf forming grass on embankment slope, verges or other locations shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer including preparation of ground, fetching of sods and watering as per Technical Specification Clause 309.

2 Retaining Wall and step Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) /manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.All kinds of soil.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) up to plinth level with:Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

3 Paving the walk way with Grass Pavers, Krishnasila Granite stone, Buffalo grass etc. Providing and fixing of precast concrete interlocking Grass Pavers M 30 grade 300x300x120mm size of (Brand : Basant Betons with model ART LINE or similar) having surface drainage of 28.6%, manufactured from fully computerized automatic stationery hydraulic vibrate pressed machine and fully computerized automatic batching plant. Interlocking paver block to be fixed on the bed compacted into 75mm thick coarse sand zone III or similar approved specification and filling the joints with the sand of approved type and quality or as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The rate should include the cost of providing a sand bed and filling the joints with fine sand (Fine sand zone IV OR SIMILAR), compacting and proper embedding /laying of interlocking paver blocks into the sand bedding, layer through vibratory compaction by using Plate Compactor, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per design, finishing and removing extra sand etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing "KRISHNASILA" black granite 90x60x5 cm Flamed surface on top, for paving in floors, drains etc. laid over 20mm thick base mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints filled with same mortar including ruled pointing etc. complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge.
