FINANCIAL PROPOSAL FOR A CONTRACT PERIOD OF 5 YEARS

1 Quarterly-Contract-Fees payable to PRTC, or its nominee from 1st year to 5th year i.e. 20 Quarterly installments as per Schedule XI of the Management Contract. Excluding all the Taxes / Cess / GST i.e. the Taxes shall be payable over & above this amount)

The Quarterly Contract Fees (A) quoted shall be increased every year by a minimum of 5%.

Note: In addition to above;

1 The GST (as applicable) on Contract Fees shall be Borne and Paid by the "O&M Agency" and the same shall be charged extra (as applicable from time to time) on every Quarterly Contract Fees.

2 It is further provided that in case the contract is extended beyond 5th year with mutual understanding of both the parties then the Quarterly Contract Fees will be increased by 10% of the contract fees.

3 The Property Tax shall be Brne & Paid by the O&M Agency as and when demand is raised by the concerned authority as per the notification of Local Govt. Department. However, if demand is not raised within one year the amount will be charged in the fourth quarter after getting it self-assessed or assessed from the concerned authority as per the rules of Govt. of Punjab, Department of Local Bodies. The Property Tax shall be paid by the O&M Agency even if the demand is raised after the completion of the Management Contract. For instance, if the demand of the Property Tax pertaining to the period of Management Contract is raised by the concerned authority after the completion of Management Contract, it will be paid by the O&M Agency or it shall be recovered from his/its Performance Security.

4 The O&M Agency will pay the Contract Fees, any/all other Taxes, GST, Duties, Charges Levied by the Government of India & State Government/ Local Authorities during the period of contract (applicable at the time of acceptance of award of this project) either to PRTC or to Competent Authority as applicable, all other financial liabilities (irrespective of the fact that whether PRTC is the assessee or whether the O&M Agency is the assessee), existing afterwards the start of operational day of the Proposal by the O&M Agency, such as Service Tax, Property Tax and all other Taxes, Duties, Charges etc., on account of Operations & Maintenance as well as on account of Land & Building/ Property/ Assets/ Facilities/ Rentals/ Passenger Amenities/ User Charges etc. of the Bus Terminal, would be borne by the O&M Agency.

b In case of difference between the words and figures, words shall prevail.
