REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING ROOF TREATMENT IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS AND SUNKEN FLOORING AND CONNECTED WORKS AT BRD AREA UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Dismantling brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roof and removal of unserviceable brick tiles / brick bats of rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing bitumen felt including cement mortar bedding padding and cleaning the surface and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud in roof, any thickness, including plastering and leaping (whether full thickness removed or nly a part thereof) and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, or in any position (after staging) etc. and removal of rubbish outside MOD land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km and stacking of useful bricks/brickbats for credit, complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in padding on roof laid in 50mm thick average required thickness to maintain desired slope, finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.50 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in roof kerb, mud stops, benching , including use and waste necessary form work including dimolition of existing PCC and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) using WPC @ 0.200ML per 50Kg bag of cement on surfaces of roof and parapet, finished even & fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.3Kg/Sqm conforming to IS 3384 and laying 3mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyster matt having softening point not less than 150 degree centigrade, having tensile strength 650 N/Sqcm in longitudinal and 400 N/Sqcm in transverse direction by torch method with minimum 100mm side lap and 150mm end lap followed by application of a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2Kg/Sqm , complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the Authorised applicator of the Manufacturers.

All as per item No. 09 here-in-before but on vertical surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting grooves in brick wall, 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for 40mm thick brick tiles laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) using grey cement and grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement laid on concrete roof, complete all specified and directed.

Material and Labour for applying two coats of solar reflective bituminious aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.20Kg/Sqm for two coats, complete all specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with using retrieved subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), except bricks, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable bricks retrieved from demolition against srl item No 4 here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) pipes 200mm dia double socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls , laid in trenches, floors including fixing arrangement like brackets at every 2m distance etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair for 200mm PVC (SWR) bends any radius complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair for 200mm PVC (SWR) reducers complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in foundation filling, mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing water proofing treatment of sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound coating of make as approval in Technical Instruction 5/2003 by adding: (a) 15mm thick plaster (1:4) cement sand mortar mixed with and including liquid water proofing compound @200ml per 50Kg bag by weight of cement on floor and wall / beam , finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately). (b) First layer of slurry of cement @0.488 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @0.242 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs followed with water curing for 48 hrs and including demolition of existing treatment and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 15 mm fancy type Bib taps cast copper alloy chromium plated with capstan head, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in repair Vitreous china squatting pan, ‘Orissa’ pattern, size 580 x 440 mm, white colour, with integral foot rests (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe), including 100mm 'P' or 'S' trap set in complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in repairs PVC syphonic action type flushing cistern 10 liters capacity ,low level with inlet ,ball valve float and bracket with complete fitting complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in repair PVC connection 15 mm size with PTMT nuts of lengh 450 mm long complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair grating doom 125mm dia with waste hole of PTMT (Minimum weight 40 gms) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 75 mm cast iron soil waste and vent pipe in any length with or without ears jointed with cement mortar (1:3) laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair cast iron floor trap/nahani trap 75mm including jointing to waste pipe with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate joint to waste pipe complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair cast iron bend 75mm with oval access door diminishing pieces or tapers, complete all as specified and directed

Taking up or down 15 mm bore steel water tubing with connections or fittings from wall, ceiling, floor etc. complete all as specified and directed

S & F GI water tubes, 15 mm bore medium grade, galvanized with all fittings and fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors incuding connected to existing kitek/GI pipes complete all as specified and directed

M&L for first quality non skid jointless ceramic coloured tiles 7-8 mm thick (area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but n.exc 0.18Sqm) laid in floor with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 and including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the sade of tiles including 25mm thick cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:6 (12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed

M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity exc 500 Ltrs but n.exc 1000 Ltrs for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning incl rubbing out old letters written over the tank d) Refixing the tank with fittings as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 114325.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
