SPECIAL REPAIRS FOR REPLACEMENT OF BER VRF UNIT AT COMMAND REFERENCE LIBRARY, UNDER VENDURUTHY, PROVISION OF STANDBY COOLING TOWER AT AC PLANT INSTALLED AT AED, INS GARUDA AND PROVISION OF CHEMICAL EARTHING PIT

Dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable VRF Unit consisting of 2 outdoor, 5 Indoors along with piping system, Electric panels etc. replace with new VRF unit and transport, deposit to MES Store Yard complete all as directed.

Supply, installation of Ceiling suspended 5.0 TR 4-Way Cassette type VRV/VRF indoor unit with cordless remote, Y joints as per OEM and capable of working with ecofriendly non-CFC/HCFC based refrigerant for connecting/ compatible with VRV/VRF outdoor unit above all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Notes for Item No 2 & 3:- Above Quoted Rates shall include with the following items: - (i) The work shall be carried out through OEM/authorized agency. (ii) One display board VRF A/C plant drawn on Acrylic white sheet with coloured paints duly marking the details duly fabricated with suitable aluminium frame of not less than 0.5m x 0.5m all as specified and as directed. (iii) Any other minor civil masonry work required for erection and smooth functioning of VRF AC plant such as opening in existing wall for pipe work, closing of open area at AC conditioned area with plywood/insulation materials, cable, copper pipe, opening in ceiling for grills/diffusers finishing of opening to match the existing work all as specified including diversion / shifting of existing internal electrification work. (iv) Necessary PCC/MS foundations for indoor and outdoor units all as per site requirements and OEM specifications. The cost required for the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit cost. (v) Any special items/accessories and components left out in the contract for successful completion of work shall be provided by the contractor and the cost for the same deemed to be included in the unit cost.

Supply & Fix Electrical panel compatible with above Serial Item No 2 and Cubical wall/Floor mounting type panel board fabricated with 2mm CRCA Sheet powder coated, aluminium bus bar of Suitable Amps as per OEM (density 0.8Amps/mm2), Single door IP54 protection. Panel shall be as per CPRI standards, duly specified and recommended by OEM with necessary Electronic and electrical items to be accommodated inside and to be installed as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge and fitted with following items Incomer: (a) MCCB 125 Amps as per OEM - 1 No (b) Metering Set: 1 Set 3 Nos IL & MFM Meter (VAF=PF) with adequate CT with CL1 accuracy (c) Bus bar of suitable Amps as per OEM (TPN Aluminium Busbar suitable as per OEM) Outgoings: (a) MCB 4pole 63 Amps 10KA for VRF Outdoor -2 Nos (b) MCB 2 pole 6 Amps10KA for VRF indoor units - 6 Nos

Supply and laying XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cables with aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade cross sectional area 4 core 25 Sqmm clamped on walls/floors including fittings/fixture complete all as directed.

Supply & Fix 3 Pole MCCB 125 Amp, 50 Hz, 415 Volt with rupturing capacity 36 KA with enclosure complete as specified and directed.

Taking down any type of false ceiling for VRF AC piping work and refix after installation including all required accessories and make it good complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) Any damages made to false ceiling during execution of the above, the same may be repaired/replaced by the contractor without any additional cost. (ii) Cost of additional materials required for making it good as per existing surface deemed to include in the quoted rate.

Supply and Fix 16 SWG Hard drawn copper refrigerant piping (Discharge and suction) with suitable branch kits/ refnets suitable sizes and thermal insulation with 25 mm Thick Nitrile rubber tubular foam and necessary Installation accessories such as supports and clamps etc. The sizes given shall be verified by Supplier for adequacy and size based on manufacturer standards. The copper pipes need to be laid through GI cable tray suitable size made out of 14 Gauge GI perforated sheet with cover using necessary supports, fasteners etc. for Protection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and Fix Control cum transmission wiring of 1.5 Sqmm copper cable in suitable PVC conduits between indoor and outdoor unit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and Fix Rigid PVC Drain piping 32mm dia insulated with 6 mm thick nitrile rubber tubular foam with necessary supports, fasteners etc. complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix inbuilt WIFI based Central controller for controlling all Indoor Units at a single place, including display screen and with necessary software as per OEM recommendation with mode, fan speed, swing, temperature range and error code display settings complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying in replacement GI pipe line of 100 mm dia medium grade laid in trench/floors/walls including welding, connecting and painting two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation PN 1.6 manual butterfly valve of sizes 100 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair CI 'Y' strainer of size 100 mm dia in condensing/chilled water line complete dia including modification of pipe line for fixing the strainer and replacement of flanges and nuts & bolts, packing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In charge.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 16 Sqmm 4 core through walls/duct/roads etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (i) Rate for fixing/ laying of cables deemed to be include in the quoted rate.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of induced draft top discharge counterflow type FRP Cooling Tower of 100 TR (delta T = 7-7.5-degree Fahrenheit) capacity (Rectangular/Round bottle shape) with FRP body and base, water spray headers, cooling tower fills, fan with motor, supporting base frames, control panels of cooling tower as per manufacturer's standard instructions at AED AC plant complete all as specified and directed by EIC. Notes: (i) Cooling tower shall be made out with FRP type body and water basin, PVC filling with integral louvers and drift eliminator, fitted with spray nozzles of having self-rotating type sprinklers, statically and dynamically balanced counter flow type fan direct driven with TEFC squirrel cage induction motor, MCB switch gears , suction screen, make up quick fill arrangement, overflow and drain connections with necessary valves and suitable inspection ladder, access arrangement for cooling tower interior, erected on RCC staging of suitable height and size with necessary foundation anti-vibration mountings etc complete as specified by manufacturer and with necessary PCC hard standing around the area of width not less than 750 mm from the platform of the cooling tower.

Material & Labour for Welding/cutting of MS Pipe/Rail/MS flanges etc including with all necessary tools and equipment’s complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Laying UG cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed, armoured, aluminium conductor cable 1100 Volt grade 3.5 core 35 Sqmm in trenches /duct/floor/wall with provision of saddle and lugs, joints etc including connection complete all as specified and as directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of cable all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for riddle sand cushioning for underground cables complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(Note: Punned thickness shall be measured & paid for the Measurement purpose)

Material and labour for common burnt clay building bricks sub-class 'B' designation of size 230X115X75mm complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling of soil including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level, not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Material & Labour for GI tubing light grade of size 40mm dia (ISI marked) with all fitting/accessories for protection of cable on pole/wall and under road crossing including clamps, nut bolt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Metre below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Metre below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6 mm by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, including PCC (concrete chamber) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, with fair finish internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire gauge of (0.68mm) 8 mesh per liner inch, 80 mm thick RCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I and specified including provision of earth wire protected by 40mm dia medium grade GI pipe and watering funnel with 20mm bore medium grade GI pipe, and including all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point or LT panel etc, and testing on completion, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fix Chemical Earthing with copper plate 900x600x5mm buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 3.5 meter deep below normal ground level) connected to copper Earth strip 32x6 mm(Up to 7.5 meter) to earth plate by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, surrounded by magnesium sulphate crystals of not less than 100 Kg at last 5 layers of charcoal and salt crystals including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, chamber with RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, 40 mm thick RCC pit cover using 8mm dia TMT reinforcement @ 150mm center to center, watering funnel with 20mm bore light grade GI pipe, earth lead protected by 80mm dia light grade GI pipe etc., and testing on completion, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor 32x6 mm copper strip or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chasses or buried on ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to wall or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
