M&L for repair to potholes of any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG- 10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG- 30, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm rolled and compacted with 8-10 ton power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for surface dressing n exc 15cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated soil exc 500m and upto total distance of 1.5KM and spreading in low laying area or where directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire bruses for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical blower to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Binder/Bitumen will be supplied under Sch B

M&L for laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thicknes using 5.5% paving bitumen content (VG-30) and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total weight of mix, using hot mix plant and laid with self propelled mechanical paver fixed with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Binder/Bitumen will be supplied under Sch B (ii) Semi Dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix. The contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen content as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs.56.00 per kg of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.

Cutting out /removal of existing (DAC & SDAC) surface of runway manually/mechanically , without disturbing the existing SAMI/DBM layer and removing loose particles/ debris for distance up to 1 Km and cleaning the cut potion with help of air blower, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dense asphaltic concrete Gde-II (50mm thick of each layer consolidated thickeness) with PMB-40 ( Minimum marshal stability 1200Kg) 6.00% binder content of weight total mix laid, rolled and campacted to required camber and gradient to prepare unirom surface with vibrating roller 8 to 10 tonne power roller , complete all as specified and directed
