WORK OF CONSTRUCTION OF SHADE FOR SAND PIT AND PROVIDING & FIXING OF FIRE BUCKET STAND AT 220 KV S/S AMROHA, UNDER ETD AMROHA.

Construction of shade for sand pit at 220 KV substation Amroha.The work involves as below:- Fabrication of 02 No. 3.0 meter long and 06 Nos. 2.5 meter long vertical square shape support from 65x65x5 mm GI angles and welding the piece of 10 cm angle from 65x65x5 mm in the bottom of support. Excavation of 08 no pits of size 20x20x20 cm and concreting of 08 Nos. vertical supports with ratio of 1:2:4 of cement, coarse sand and 20mm stone ballast in proper level and alignment. Fabrication of top structure from 50x50x5 mm or 65x65x5 mm GI angles piece as per requirement. Welding theses pieces on vertical support to make the frame like hut type. Painting the structure with two coats of red oxide synthetic enamel good quality paint. Supply and fixing of 6.0 mm thick grey color corrugated asbestos roofing in position with MS “J” nut & bolts including supply of required materials, labors and T&P etc. Flooring the complete hut by first class brick work in ratio 1:4 of cement and coarse sand with 12mm thick plaster in ratio 1:2 of cement and coarse sand including these supply of related material, labour and T&P etc. (GI angle iron will be provided by department of free of cost as per actual consumption).

Providing & fixing of fire bucket stand of angle iron of size 40x40x6 mm having arrangement for hanging 08 Nos. buckets with suitable hook made of MS round bar. The stand should be duly painted with Post Office red color paint, after properly rubbing & cleaning. (All material shall be arranged by the Contractor.)

Providing and fixing of Fire Bucket of standard size bucket made of GI sheet duly panted by the Post Office red enamel paint outside and bottom by black enamel paint of good quality and marked “आग” on the outer surface of bucket. The gauge of bucket sheet will be 20 SWG.
