M&L for surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil including cleaning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and trees n.exc 30 cm girth and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for cleaning the surface with compressed air and making the surface free from dust by using brush and applying one coat of cold polymer Modified bitumen emulsion (PMBE) by using self propelled bitumen emulsion distributor or towed bitumen emulsion pressure sprayer, equipped for spraying the material (binder) uniformly and mopping of diluted liquid in the ratio 1 : 1 of PMBE and water by weight @ minimum 0.50 Kg of PMBE (ie 1.0 kg of diluted liquid) per sqm in one coat and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacturers instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- The tenderer shall cosider the following point/ details while quoting the rate for the item :- (i) No extra amount will be paid to the contractor if excess qty of PMBE used by the contractor than specified qty in the item..

M&L for Preparation of joints and cracks prior to overlay/surface treatment. Remove all vegetation and debris from cracks to a minimum depth of 25 mm.dusting with air jets, treat the specific area with appropriate crack sealing material prior to application of slurry seal as directed and specified by the Engineer--in-charge. Fill all the cracks 4-6 mm wide, along with soft or sunken spots, indicate that the pavement or the pavement base should be repaired or replaced as stated below. Cracks and joints shall be filled as per latest MORTH specifications with a mixture of slow setting cationic emulsified bitumen type SS-2, water(6-12) %, filler (1-2) %, aggregate and additives(0.5-2.0)%. The quantity of slurry seal shall lies from 8.4 to 9.8 kg/m2 and residual binder content shall lies from 7.5 % to 13.5 % (% by weight of dry aggregate) . The aggregate shall consist of crushed stone dust,clean,sharp,hard,durable and uncoated dry particles and free from soft pieces,organic and other deteterious substances or other material that will cure to form a hard substance. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Tack coat is required if the surface is extremely hungry and dry all as directed and specified by Engr-in-charge. The proportions of slow setting cationic bitumen emulsion and aggregate shall be determined in the field and may be varied to facilitate construction requirements. Normally, these proportions will be approximately one part slow setting cationic bitumen emulsion to five parts aggregate by volume. The material shall be poured or placed into the joints or cracks and compacted to form a void less mass. The joint or crack shall be filled to within +0 to -1/8 inches (+0 to -3 mm) of the surface. Any material spilled outside the width of the joint shall be removed from the pavement surface prior to constructing the overlay. Where concrete overlays are to be constructed, only the excess joint material on the pavement surface and vegetation in the joints need to be removed complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in- Charge.

M&L for cutting grass and ploughing of soft ground arrester around runway and taxi track by deploying of tractor with jungle jim/plougher and a driver complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs Taxiway/Runway Sign Boards having 100% UV protected face plate on Both side of size not exc 2.0 Sqm each consisting of non metalic materials support structure having min. Tensile strength 4000 kg/cm2 impact strength of 139kg/cm2, UV resistance must meet 1000 hr UV weathering test for tensilw strength as per ASTM G53 and very low flammability as per IS-6746, Appx "N" 1994, Temp. resistance (-)40 degree centigrate to (+)80 degree centigrate and able to withstand wind to wind force of 150kg/hr, with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflecting sheeting as 3M type4 /EGP type 3 as base and with cut out massage (legends border letters numerals etc) with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective, including PCC 1:2:4 AS IN PIT OF SIZE 15x15x15cm with MS Painted stand of size 50*50 mm and height upto 2 meter. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for raking out sealing compound from existing expansion joints of dimension 25 mm to 30 mm wide and 45 mm deep, removing the debris from site by sweeping the concrete surface with brooms, cleaning with compressed air, treating sides and bottom of the joints with primer as per manufacturer's directions and filled with preformed closed cell polyethylene backup rod/strip of 25-32 mm dia, sealing with pitch free polyurethane grey sealant (minimum depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 10 mm) conforming to BS-5212 (Type FB) and applying masking tape on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Ditto all as per item No 6 above but construction/dummy joints of dimension 16 to 24 mm wide and 40 mm deep and backup rod/strip of 16-25 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Ditto all as per item No 6 above but construction/dummy joints of dimension 10 to 15 mm wide and 30 mm deep and backup rod/strip of 13-18 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note for Srl item No 6 to 8 :- Incase of any variation in width or depth of joint, the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor as in Sch 'A'/BOQ items as above. The contractor shall not be entitled for any extra claim on this account.

M & L for cutting/chipping off carefully the cracks of runway/taxi track (hard concrete surfaces) in uniform width of cross sectional area with depth of 20 to 25mm, cleaning all dust, mud etc. Priming the cut portion of concrete surfaces with Flexopatch of Make : M/s Chowksy or equivalent and filling the cut portions of cracks to the required level to match with exisitng surfaces of concrete slab/ pavement with flexopatch mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Clearing the runway drain by plaughing by manual means and clearing away all grass vegatation from roots, spallings, shrubs, brushwoods, undergrowth, roots and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured on on meter above ground leval)and desilt the drain 0.15 m and removing rubbish upto a distence exc 250m but not exc 500m outside the periphery of the area under clearence complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Desilting of soil by excavating n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft soil and removing excavated material exc 250m and n exc 500m and depositing where directed at a leval n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for EPU flooring anti static flooring in hanger complete all as specified and directed as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge consisting of following:- (i) the prepration of old surface shall be carried out thoroughly by cleaning all foreign and dust,scraping old EPU Surface to recieve the screed (ii). pot,crack and existing joint filling with epoxy resin compound to match surface undulation of the floor (iii). application of low viscous epoxy primer having resin and hardner mixed and laid. (iv) application of epoxy resin based self smoothing screed 3.00mm thick on the clean and dry surface having high abrasion resistance spread in uniform thickness (v). laying of self adhesive cooper tape (vi). application of conductive primer coat (vii). application of EPU based self levelling top coat of flexo hard EPU to yield an average thickness of 2.0mm over the primer as required.

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed ny Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material exc.500m but n exc.1.5 km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashalar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for boulder pitching, hand packed tightly grouted with cement and sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 TypeC-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping etc and like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed with and including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:4 on stone masonary surface or surfaces other than fair face of brickwork or on side of lathing finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old concrete/bitumen surfaces on rigid/Taxi track by brushing, washing, rubbing by gunny bags over 10 cm width or girth of any description and applying one coat of 1st quality exterior weather proof water base emulsion, on lines, dashes arrows, letters etc any paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 20 above but n exc 10 cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on brick/stone, concrete asbestos cement or plaster surface of any description over 10 cm girth or width, not otherwise described including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified & directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n. exc 15 cm thickness (below or above GL) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for HDPE film black 200 micron thickness including 50mm thick sand cushioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PQC as in pavement/hardstanding of minimum flexural strength 45 Kg/Sqcm with cement content 400 Kg/Sqm with cement 400 Kg/cum or as per design mix which ever is higher using non circular synthetic fibre @ 0.25% by weight of cement of cement including necessary steel formwork complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Polyester triangular fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separately under SI item No 30 here in after, However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. (iv) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L forming 20mm thick expansion joint filled with performed HDME filler applying bond breaker tape on top of filler board for complete width of joint, provn of closed cell polyethylene back up rod 25mm dia, filled with polyethylene sealant (min depth of sealant above back up rod shall be 12mm) complying with BS-5212, priming the sides and applying masking tape on edged of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant applied, for thickness of concrete slab 300mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for forming contraction (dummy) joints 75mm deep x 10mm wide filled with expand polyethylene form (armoour board) applying bond beaker tape on top of armour board for complete width of joint, provn of colsed cell polythylene back up rod 12mm dia sealed with 10mm (depth min above back up rod) polythylene sealant complete with BS-5212, priming sides, masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant application complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L forming construction joints 25mm deep and 10mm wide, and sealed with polyethylene sealant complying with BS-5212 and priming the sides, provn of closed cell polyethelene line back up rod 12mm dia and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant applied complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for brooming on finished surface of PQC to make it rough surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only polester triangular fibers as secondary reinforcement complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone agg in sub floors, sub bases,floors and pavings etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
