Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded materials grading -1 spreading in uniforms layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotvator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired denisty, complete as per MORD technical specification Clause 401 including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting 63 to 45mm (Sixty three to Forty five) milimetres crushed stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness hand packing and rolling with smooth three wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 by manual means including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and direction of Engineer in charge .

Providing and applying priming coat with bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 to 1.00kg/sqm (Zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram per square metre ) using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per square metre on the prepared granular surface and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 503 by mechanical means as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (Twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm ( Thirteen point two millimetre to five point six millimetre) course stone agreegate @ 0.27 cublic metre ( Zero point two seven) cubic metre per 10 square metre mixed with 14.6Kg ( Fourteen point six Killogramme) per 10 square metre (ten) bitumen VG-10 (Viscosity Grade-Ten) to required line,grade and level to serve as wearing course on previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in a suitable hotmix plant 30/40 (thirty to forty) tonne per hour capacity transporting mixed material and laying with paver finisher and rolling with a Three wheel 80-100 KN (Eighty- hundered ) capacity static roller finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat Type B as per MORD Technical specification clause 508 by machenical means as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.

Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical specification clause 510 using VG-10 (Viscosity Grade - Ten) at the rate 6.8 (Six point eight killograme) per 10 Sqm (ten Square metre) premix with 0.06 Cum (Zero point zero six )Cubic metre of fine aggregate per 10 Sqm (Ten Square metre ) by mechanical means and rolling with power road roller with three wheel 80 to100 ( Eighty to hundred ) capacity, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil by manual /mechnical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful material for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Recovery for stones whether usefull or not for 38.98 Cum @ Rupees 170.00 (One Hundred seventy only per cubic metre ) shall be done on prorata basis from each running bill of this item.
