Material and labour to carry out repair of the damaged runway/taxi track using the conventional runway rehabilitation system using (RAPIGROUT CEMENT) to restore pavement for aircraft operations as per the following methodology, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes :- (i) Size of crater shall be of 4.00 to 5.00mtr in dia and 1.5 to 2.00mtr depth. (a) Excavation and preparation of required size crater as per site and removal soil/debris with the help of JCB/loader/excavator. (b) Dewatering (if required) and sealing the crater with the help of high pressure water pumps and suitable water proofing methods as per ground for further progressing the work. (c) Soil stabilization and filling up of the bottom portion of the crater with the stone boulders of maximum size 150mm upto appx 0.75mtr depth in the layers not exceeding 150mm. (d) M&L for laying and consolidating of 63<d<90mm upto depth of 250mm. (e) M&L for laying and consolidating of 40<d<90mm upto depth of 150mm. (f) M&L for laying 400 micron polythene sheet, over a layer of 60mm thick sand cushion. (g) M&L for laying and consolidation of 20<d<63mm upto thickness of 300mm and providing form work to sides 10 top 15cm in hgt, for laying Rapigrout cement grouting. (h) Supply and laying/pouring of Rapigrout cement grouting over the upper layer of crushed stone aggregate will be carried out by Air force authorities/MES DEL (ii) The assessed time schedule for above activities is as under:- (a) Assessment by administrative as well as executive team- 1hrs (b) Mobilization of resources, men, material and T&P (Parallel activity) 1 to 2 Hrs (c) Repair of crater- 3.5Hrs (d) Clearance of site 0.5 Hrs (e) Total time envisaged to accomplish the tasks 6 to 7 Hrs (iii) The rate quoted by bidder shall deemed to included for all activates stated here-in-above and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this accoun

M&L to carry out repair of the damaged runway/taxi track using the conventional runway rehabilitation system using dense asphatlic concrete (DAC-I) from hot mix plant to restore pavement for aircraft operations as per the following methodology, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (i) Size of crater shall be of 12 to 15mtr in dia and 3 to 3.5mtr depth. (a) Excavation and preparation of required size crater as per site and removal soil/debris with the help of JCB/loader/excavator. (b) Dewatering (if required) and sealing the crater with the help of high pressure water pumps and suitable water proofing methods as per ground for further progressing the work. (c) Soil stabilization and filling up of the bottom portion of the crater with the stone boulders of maximum size 150mm upto appx 3.00mtr depth in the layers not exceeding 300mm. (d) M&L for laying and consolidation of granular sub-base course (GSBC) of consolidated thickness 200mm using 8 to 12 tonne power road rollers. (e) M&L for laying 8 ot 12 tonne consolidation of wet mix macadam (WMM) of consolidated thickness 200mm using 8 to 12 tonne power road rollers. (f) Preparation of WMM surface and applying tack coat using paving bitumen grade VF-10 @ 10kg per 10 Sqm. (g) M&L for laying and consolidating 150mm thick dense asphaltic concrete (DAC-I) in two layers of 75mm each using 6% paving bitumen by weight of total mix as binder of grade VG-30 and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power road rollers.

Notes for Srl Item No. 1.00 to 3.00 :- (a) Rates are inclusive of all the T&P required to carry out the item of work which shall be mobilized within 30 minutes as and when intimated. However the assessed details of T&P for Srl item No. 1.00 to 3.00 is specified in tender documents. Any variation in T&P and material as per ground condition will be the responsibility of contractor. Hence contractor to quote their rates keeping in view this aspect without any extra cost/claim to the Deptt. (b) The entire work under these items is to be carried out on immediate basis. for this a MOU as per format attached here-in-after is to be submitted by the contractor on Rs. 100/- Non judical stamp paper at the time of quoting their rates falling which the tender shall be treated as invalid. (c) The work of Srl item No. 1.00 to 3.00 will start in simultaneous manner and to be completed within the given time frame as stated in the respective item. hence contractor to quote their rates keeping in view this aspect without any extra cost to the Deptt since time is of the essence in this activity.
