M&L for preparation of old black bituminous top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete in all respect as specified & directed

M&L Applying tack coat cationic emulsion RS-I grade ,2.5 Kg/ X Sqm using mechenical sprayer complete in all respect as specified & directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled & compacted to required gradient & camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of VG-30 at the rate of 4% by weight of total mix complete in all respect as specified & directed Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg.

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust & mud of water scoring sunken surface in road etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying catoinic emulsion @ 2.5Kg RS-I grade per 10 sqm and filled with bituminous premixed carpet mix, 25mm consolidated thickness, with 0.33 cum of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 kg of binder (paving bitumen of VG-30) per 10 SQM, rolled and consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size), with Limestone, sandstone, flint or quartzite, spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with RS-I grade cationic emulsion @ 7.5 Kg/ X Sqm using mechenical sprayer on black top surfaces complete in all respect as specified & directed.

Providing & laying design mixed, semi dense bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30, rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed. (iii) The thickeness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further, it is clarified that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope & making good the undulations etc, all as directed by the GE, shall be made.

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed

S & F in repair dual directional reflective cat eye of impact resistanct ABS plastic stud 120X120mm having ultra violet resistant colour white having 4x2=8 large glass lens reflectors (Tiger-eye) of colour white a side fixed with epoxy and steel zinc plated nail of dia 12mm of length 120mm for fixing to road by hammering.

Material and Labour for 2.5mm thick Thermoplastic road marking material/Hot making paint (minimum qty of material @ 2.02 gm per Cucm) of specified shade/colour using hot process by fully automatic thermplastic materials applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads (minimum qty of mglass beads @ 30% of main material's by weight) to be embedding and anchoring at a depth of 50-60% and should be pressure type system, having tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of all materials, labour, T&P, transportation, cleaning the road surface of all dirts, seals, oil grease, grass and foreign materials etc., complete in all respect as specified and directed. Road marking material should comply with BS 3262:Part 1:1989,AASHTO M-249,MORTH ( Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, India ) Clause 803.4.2 1, JIS K 5655 of Make: IRA road marks, Asian paints (Apcomark), Automark Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd., Metalite (Hibrite) (Note:- The work shall be executed by manufacturers authorised applicator only)

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
