REPAIR/MAINT AND DEHYDERATION OF TRANSFORMER AND ALLIED HT WORKS

Disconnecting defective transformer indoor/outdoor of capacity 750KVA both from HT/LT sides, and then drainage of complete transformer oil, opening of top cover with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then lifting of core by means of tripod and chain pulley with due care for inspection and ascertain it’s serviceability state after keeping it aside. Removal of all sludge and unwanted material from tank and core, lowering of core assembly after carrying out required repairs to the winding and core. In case the repairs which are not possible at site then the transformer has to be taken to the work shop for repairs. Note :- (i) The cost of transportation shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate by the conractor. (ii) The cost of rewinding shall be paid separately. (iii) The cost of dehydration/filtration & other necessary repair as directed shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (iv) Additional transformer oil for top-up, if required will be filled by contractor and shall be paid under respective item of this schedule.

Opening of top cover LT and HT side bushings with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then replacement of head gasket, LT and HT bushing packings complete and ensured that no leakage in transformer from LT/HT bushing and top cover gasket as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Opening of top cover LT and HT side bushings with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then replacement of head gasket, LT and HT bushing packings complete and ensured that no leakage in transformer from LT/HT bushing and top cover gasket as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down of power transformers any capactiy from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections, Transportation of transformer to workshop from site of installation to workshop for repairs including loading and unloading of transformer, and replacing it to site from where it was taken for repairs/(as required by Engr incharge) complete .and then lowering it by means of crane and remounting on platform after repairs including testing with connected all type connection all as directed and specified by engineer in charge.

Taking down of transformers of capacity 50/100/250/300/400/500/750KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to workshop from site of installation to workshop for repairs including loading and unloading of transformer (with the help of Hydra), and replacing it to site from where it was taken for repairs (as directed by Engr incharge) complete .and then lowering it by means of crane and remounting on 2/4pole structure after repairs all as directed and specified by engineer in charge.

Taking down of transformers of capacity 50/100/250/300/400/500/750KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to PCC/ 2 or 4 pole structure to any other required location in Roorkee cantt lowering and remounting it on 2/4pole structure by means of crane after disconnecting all connection and reconnection in new location including earthing connection and as directed and specified by engineer in charge.

Material and labour for replacement of worn out HT side copper coils for Transformer rating 50-315 KVA made out of super enameled insulated copper wire all as per existing size and shape including all insulating, binding, material and then varnishing complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge

All as per Item No. 7 above but of Transformer rating 315-500 KVA.

All as per Item No. 7 above but of Transformer rating 750 KVA.

Material and labour for replacement of worn out LT side copper coils for Transformer rating 50-300 KVA made out of super enameled insulated copper strip all as per existing size and shape including all insulating, binding, material and then varnishing complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge

All as per Item No. 10 above but of Transformer rating 315-500 KVA.

All as per Item No. 10 above but of Transformer rating 750 KVA.

Dehydration/centrifuging of transformer oil by means centrifuging machine electrically operated at site of installation of transformer in running condition of transformer including testing of transformer oil before and after centrifuging from top and bottom of transformer at 2.4 mm gap the BDV should be 40KV complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supplying,filling dehydration and filtration of new transformer oil for toping up/replacement of transformer oil having dielectric strength not less than 40 KV(rms) with gap of 2.5 mm all as conforming to IS 335 of 1993 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of worn out bushing rod made out of brass with heavy duty three nuts and three washer of brass at both ends suitable for HT side all as per existing size, shape, dia and length suitable for following capacity transformers :- (a) 50 - 100 KVA

Material and labour for replacement of worn out bushing rod made out of made out brass with heavy duty three nuts and three washer at both ends suitable for LV side all as exiting size, shape and length suitable for following capacity transformers :- (a) 50 - 100 KVA Transformers

(b) 160 – 200 KVA Transformers.

(c) 315 – 400 KVA Transformers.

(d) 500 -- 750 KVA Transformers

Material and labour for replacement of worn out porcelain bushing for 11KV HT side indoor /outdoor transformers with rubberised cork sheet washers 4mm thick all as required at site and as directed by engineer in charge suitable for following capacity transformers:- (a) 50 – 100 KVA Transformers

(b) 160 – 200 KVA Transformers.

(c) 315 – 400 KVA Transformers.

(d) 500 -- 750 KVA Transformers

Material and labour for replacement of worn out porcelain bushing for .433 KV LT side indoor /outdoor transformers with rubberised cork sheet washers 4mm thick all as required at site and as directed by engineer in charge suitable for following capacity transformers:- (a) 50 – 100 KVA Transformers

Material and labour for replacement of worn out rubberised cork sheet 4mm thick suitable for HT/LT side bushing of off sizes all as required at site and directed by engineer in charge.

Material and labour for replacement of worn out off load tap changer, with matallic tap changing machanizm, 7 positions and making all electrical connection including removing existing one complete all as per existing sample suitable for following capacity of transformers of any make.:- (a) 50 -100 KVA

Material and labour for special earthing to substation equipment with GI earth plate 600X600X6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less then 4.5Mtr depth below ground level. Earth plate shall be surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust with common salt packed 250mm on all sides of earth plate including excavation , earth work in any soil, returning filling in removal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50Mtrs, concrete pit and RCC cover with suitable handle for lifting and GI strip 32X6 mm soldered and riveted to earth plate at one end and brought up to test point including 50mm bore GI protaction pipe and 20mm dia light grade pipe for watering all as specified and shown in drawing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Material and labour for oil temperature guage / thermometer (0 degree to 120 degree C) suitable for transformers all as per existing shape and size for any make and model of transformers all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Preventive maintenace/ servicing of HT RMU of make ABB by dismantling of breaker mechanism checking the various critical setting in mechanism, busbar chember,Electric short circuit indicator, current and earthfult relay, gas pressure/ densicty, manually operated mechanisms, fuses , fuse conister, feeder busbar intenal/external busbar, SF6 tank, LV copartment, auxiliary switch, interlocking lever, current transformer relay etc. checking of spring charging mechanism, checking of pole contact , greasing/ lubricating of mechanism moving parts, checking of contact pressure, alignment and adjusting the same, triping coil test trial & teting of RMU for smooth and correct fuctioning by ABB Engr or authorized coy complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down rusted/unsv mild steel work and M&L for mild steel work as in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of existing PCC/Steel pole with new steel tubular sweged poles complete with cast iron base plate, final taper, plug, bolts, nuts & washers as specified type 410 SP-55(11.0 mtr long) including re-fixing of removed accessoreis such as ACSR/AAC conductor, cables, street light fittings, clamps, nuts & bolts etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- Excavation, MS work and PCC work will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for PCC work type D-2 (1:4:8) with 40mm graded aggregate for foundation to poles / stays/strutus or basements etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1 :3 :6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded aggregate incl necessary form work all as specified.

M & L for cement concrete 1 :2 :4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded aggregate as in coping incl necessary form work all as specified.

Dismentaling of old steel tubular pole LT/HT after excavation of PCC and disconecting of cross arm and insulators,and shifting it to new location as required on site including all ACSR conductor any size/ cross arm/insulators connections including PCC work with ratio 1:3:6 and coping and testing of overhead line complete all as specified and directeded.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for finding of the cable fault in HT/LT underground cable and returning filling (including old bricks and sand) the same after rectification of the cable fault in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator, including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut, 150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 Volt grade, complete all as specified.

S & F in replacement disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, with tension clamps for conductor, working pressure 11000 volts, complete all as specified.

Cutting through existing bituminous road /PCC/floor/approx size width 50cm X 60cm depth along cross section of the road for laying of GI tubing/RCC pipe for encasing of UG cable and repairing the road to match with the original finish by PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded aggrigate complete all as specified.

Taking down old rusted galvanized iron pipe and providing galvanized pipe 100 mm bore light grade in trenches / road / nallah or fixed along wall/ pole including mild steel clamps, screws etc, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Jindal/ Tata steel / Prakash Surya.

Materials and labour for 100mm thick plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in paving and spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal, complete all as specified and directed. (For MRS Yard maintenance)
