| 1.00 | OD4696/2025-2026:Engaging labour for cleaning activities in the Peechi House and rest house, including rooms, toilets, linens, curtains, water tanks and the surrounding premises. This includes the deployment of a caretaker/watchman for the building and its premises, available both during the day and night, from check-in to check-out, as and when required by departmental officers on site.
1) The quoted rate is inclusive of all incidentals, including but not limited to:
a) Provision of basic toiletries such as soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, handwash and room essentials such as water and utensils.
b) Washing and supply of clean linen (bedsheets, pillow covers, towels, curtains) for each guest prior to occupancy.
c) Labour charges, equipment, cleaning materials, consumables, and any other overheads.
2) Security personnel provided by the contractor must be present on the premises 24/7, ensuring the safety of the premises and guests, Proper decorum and adherence to house rules and guidelines by the guests and Immediate reporting of any suspicious or unlawful activities to the concerned authorities.
3) The contractor shall be held liable for any damages arising from negligence or failure to comply with the required standards of maintenance or security.
4) Caretaker/Security Responsibilities - Responsibility of caretaker includes recording guest check-in and check-out details, maintain a visitor logbook and provide assistance to guests for general queries and minor service needs.
5) Cleanliness Standards - Regular cleaning of common areas and sanitization of frequently touched surfaces. Full room cleaning and linen replacement before every new check-in and every third day during extended stays and cleaning after room vacation if necessary.
6) Logbook - The contractor shall maintain a logbook which includes a daily checklist for cleaning and security tasks which must be signed off by an authorized departmental officer not below the rank of an overseer.
7) Emergency - The contractor must provide emergency contact numbers of supervisory and cleaning staffs. The contractor must also ensure availability of first aid and fire safety equipment at site.
