Consultancy for Soil Investigation, Architectural Drawings, Structural Design and Drawings, Preparation of Estimated Bills of quantities and consultancy for work for provision of Cleaning & De-preservation bay for TV 3 Series Aero Engines at AF Stn Chandigarh Under GE (AF) MC, Chandigarh. The scope of work as under:- (a) (i) The Bldg (02 Nos) (Main Bldg size 17x14x4.50 Mtrs & covered connected coridor size 15x3x3.2 Mtrs) shall be RCC framed Structure with RCC roofing, single story building with plinth area 396.20 Sqmm (333.20 Sqmm + 63.00 Sqmm). (ii) Preparation of arch drawings in consultancy with CWE/GE. (iii) Structural design of bldg preparation of structural drawings & Vetting of structural designs from IIT, NIT/ Gont Engg College. (iv) Drawings will be submitted in original tracing, soft copy in drawing format & PDF format & 05 sets of print on A3 size. (v) Preparation o BoQ based on SSR 2020.
(b) Soil investigation at site at AF Stn Chandigarh under GE (AF) MC Chandigarh as per the details given below:- (i) Mobilization on mechanical drilling equipment and shifting of entire arrangement as required/directed by GE. (ii) Boring 150mm dia bore holes 02 Nos upto 06 mtr depth from GL through following strata:- (aa) Any type of Soil.. (ab) Soft Rock. (ac) Hard Rock. (iii) Collection of undisturbed soil sample at 1.5 mtr internal or at change of strata in 100mm bore thin walled tube including waxing sealing, packing and transporting of the job. (iv) Carring out standard penetration test (SPT) including collection of distrubed soil samples in bore holes at very 1.5 mtr depth or any charge of strata and submit the report with all requisite data. . (v) Conducting necessary test as per relevant IS codes/SP 36 on all collected samples with include the determination of following:- (aa) Atterberg limits. (ab) Natural moisture content. (ac) Wet & Dry density. (ad) Soil particle size distribution (ae) Bore log data sheet using sleeve/hydrometer analysis. (af) In-axial shear test 'C' & determination (ag) Shrinkage limit. (ah) Consolidation test. (aj) Specific Gravity Test. (ak) Calculation of SBC. (vi) Recommendation of type of fdn viz shallow, deep/pile/raft required considering soil strata. (vii) Assessment of SBC for shallow foundation (Isolated/Combined) at 1.00, 1.50, 2.00 depth. (viii) Submission of soil testing report in triplicate.
