OFC LAYING WORKS

Excavation below ground level (Cable trench, trail pits, duct retrieval, pipeline locating etc. ) All types of earth along GAIL's Pipeline ROU / Route / Terminal /SV/IP Stations Earth work in Excavation below ground level for all kinds of works in ALL TYPES OF SOIL including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, dewatering of accumulated water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 100m, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewage pipes, electric overhead and underground cables etc. all complete.

Backfilling after execution of the WORK Backfilling after execution of the WORK to proper grade and level with selected materials from available excavated soil from spoil heaps, including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, breaking clods, laying at all depths and heights in layers of thickness not exceeding 15 Cms. watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods/ mechanical compactors to achieve 90% laboratory maximum dry density, dressing, trimming etc. in foundations, plinths, trenches, pits etc. all complete.

LAYING OF OFC / CROSSING by HDD, Manual moiling and other trenchless techniques ( EXCEPT HARD ROCK) Crossing of all types of road, rail, nalah, drain, and other obstacles wherever required , in all types of soils, soft rock/ murram except hard rock including all associated works including supply of all other contractor supplied materials, equipment, consumables, manpower, pulling of HDPE conduit or CS conduit subducted with HDPE conduit as the case may be for laying / blowing of OFC cable, backfilling and restoration as original of the facility crossed and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of EIC and provisions of Contract Document. Drawing preparation and obtaining the approval on the same is included in the scope of Contractor. As per specification, approved procedure, drawing, etc. and instructions of EIC and provision of contract document, getting NOC from all concerned authority of the facilities crossed.

Laying of HDPE Telecom Duct: Laying of HDPE Telecom Duct: Laying of 40mm HDPE Ducts in excavated trench direct buried or cased crossing through CS / HDPE conduit in all type of soil & terrain, excavated as required, padding, backfilling, etc. including supply of HDPE Duct accessories required including plastic couplers, end plugs, cable sealing plugs, end caps, etc. suitable & sufficient for supplied ducts, cleaning and sealing of ducts at the end laid drum lengths, preparation and supply of cable blowing pit at each Km jointing of HDPE conduit and accessories after laying preparation of report and final drawing and documents as per specification, joint location marking, erection accessories, as-built, etc.
