Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft and hard rock and chiselling work including saturated soil slushy soil and under floor upto all depth and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metre clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 centimetre (Fifteen centimetre) layer when required into plinth sides of foundation etc.consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge within all leads and lifts.
Laying jointing and testing in trenches to level or grade of G.I. pipe of following dia confirming to ISI 1239-1990 (part-III) having wall thickness as specfied below capable of with standing required test pressure including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/tapers all short pieces required degree of bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes earth work in trenches (MS flanged of required table shall be measured and paid seperately) including welding of flanges joints of pipe duly welded including nuts, bolts & gasket separately). the welding electrodes shall be as per IS: 1369-1967 of Advani oerlikon/L&T of ISI marked make the damaged portion of pipes (if damages during laying and joints operation of pipe). The rates also including entire carriage of material flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing of pipes D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete within all leads and lifts. Providing laying jointing and testing of bevelled ended MSERW zinc coated pipe of following diametre and wall thickness confirming to IS/ISO 3183-2012 of steel grade L-290 A (latest with upto date ammendments) and capable of with standing required test pressure in a rendom length of 5.5 to 6.5 mtr., including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/tapers all short pieces, required degree bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes complete in all respect to the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times of the dia of pipe. Providing welding and fixing of M.S. flanges @6% of flanged joints conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) and welding of MS flanges with GI/MSERW pipes in required layers on both faces i.e two layer on outer faces and one layer on inner faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of GI/MSERW pipes and butt welding joints to be measured and paid for separtely). NOTE :- The cast iron Sluice valve shall conform to BIS-780-1984 for 50 mm to 300 mm dia and BIS:2906-1984 for 350 mm to 1200 mm dia (latest eddition). However if seat pressure exceeds the limits prescribed in above mentioned BIS then it shall be of cast steel conforming to class ASA-150 for seat pressure up to 21 Kg./Cm2 & of class ASA-300 for seat pressure 52 Kg./Cm2 as per BS-1414 (API-600).

Providing & laying PVC insulated jointless, flat water proof copper cable of Siemens/Finolex/Grandlay/Gloster make conforming to BIS:1554 (Part I) -1988 or latest with up to date ammendments of suitable size for the pump sets offered(one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment /accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipe, solder, nuts & bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor. The type, size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost. On supply side of 3½ core coper cable 10.00 mm^2 ( From HPSEB Meter to Switch &Starter).
On motor side 3 core flat joint less copper cable of size 6.00 mm^2 ( From Switch & Starter to Motor) pump installed in the bore.
Supply & errection of floor power shunt capacitor conforming to BIS 2834-1986 latest with upto date ammendments of GEC/Siemen/ Havells L&T make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of requirement KVAR according to BHP of motor offered including cable Siemens/Gloster/ICC make from busbar chamber to capacitor & also including Standard/ L&T/Kilburn/Indo asian make ICTP switches conforming to BIS 4064- 4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses.
Supply of standarad make 100 mm dia circular/square dial pressure gauge of suitable range Fiebeg/Bourden/ Precision make with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing etc. conforming to BIS 3624-1987 latest with up to date ammendments.
P/Laying Column assembly of G.I./MSERW pipe considering site requirements and having appropriate size in accordance with the delivery size of pumping set . The pipe shall conform to relevant BIS codes & capable of with standing the feild test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure including all type of fittings such as bends, tapers/ reducers, flanges, rubber gaskets 3mmthick, nuts & bolts and any other fitting required at site and work shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Column assembly = 80mm dia G.I.flanged pipe (medium grade) NOTE:- Actual laying to be done as per final drawings to be approved by the Engineer in charge

Supply of Kirloskar/Kilburn/IVC/Fouress/Gled/BHEL/Leader make Cast steel double flanged sluice valve of class ASA-300 confirming to BIS-1414(API-600) (to be provided on delivery side) of equal size to one dia more than the dia of delivery of pump and capable of with standing nominal seat test pressure of 52 kg/cm². NOTE :- The cast iron Sluice valve shall conform to BIS-780-1984 for 50 mm to 300 mm dia and BIS:2906-1984 for 350 mm to 1200 mm dia (latest eddition). However if seat pressure exceeds the limits prescribed in above mentioned BIS then it shall be of cast steel conforming to class ASA-150 for seat pressure up to 21 Kg./Cm2 & of class ASA-300 for seat pressure 52 Kg./Cm2 as per BS-1414 (API-600).

Supply of Kirloskar/Kilburn/IVC/Fouress/Gled/BHEL/Leader make Cast iron double flanged swing check type reflux valve having bypass arrangement of class ASA-300 confirming to BS 1868(API-600) (latest edition)to be provided on Rising main) and shall be suitable for withstanding nominal seat pressure of 52 kg/cm². NOTE :- The reflux valve shall conform to BIS-5312-1984 (part-I) latest with upt date ammendments. However if seat pressure exceeds the limits prescribed in BIS 5312 then the reflux valves shall be of cast steel conformingt to class ASA-150 for seat pressure up to 21 Kg./Cm2 & of class ASA-300 for seat pressure 52 Kg./Cm2 as per BS-1414 (API-600).
Supply of Kirloskar/Kilburn/IVC/Fouress /Gled/BHEL/Leader make cast iron double flanged sluice valve class PN-I confirming to BIS 780-1984 (latest addition) to be provided on Suction side of size one dia higher then the suctrion size of pump capable of withstanding nominal seat pressure of 10.20 kg/cm².
Providing & laying PVC insulated jointless, flat water proof copper cable of Siemens/Finolex/Grandlay/Gloster make conforming to BIS:1554 (Part I) -1988 or latest with up to date ammendments of suitable size for the pump sets offered (one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment /accessories such as thimbles,flexible pipe, solder, nuts & bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor. The type,size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost. On supply side of 3½ core coper cable mm^2 (From HPSEB Meter to Switch & Starter)(Size to be specified by the tenderer)
On motor side 3 core flat joint less copper cable of size __ mm^2 ( From Switch & Starter to Motor) pump installed in the bore. (Size to be specified by the tenderer)
Supply & errection of floor/wall mounted power shunt capacitor conforming to BIS 2834-1986 latest with upto date ammendments of GEC/Siemen/Havells L&T make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of requirement KVAR according to BHP of motor offered including cable Siemens/Gloster/ ICC make from busbar chamber to capacitor & also including Standard/ L&T/Kilburn/Indo asian make ICTP switches conforming to BIS 4064- 4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses. (range to be specified by the tenderer.)
Supply of standarad make 80mm dia circular/square dial pressure gauge of suitable range Fiebeg/ Bourden/ Precision make with all accessories such as stop cock,copper tubing etc. conforming to BIS 3624-1987 latest with up to date ammendments.
P/L GI/MSERW pipe considering site requirements and having appropriate size in accordance with the delivery size of pumping set . The pipe shall conform to relevant BIS codes & capable of with standing the feild test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure including all type of fittings such as bends, tapers/reducers, flanges, rubber gaskets 3mm thick, nuts & bolts and any other fitting required at site and work shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The pipe material shall conform to relevant BIS Code and capable of with standing FTP equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure the complete arrangement shall compromise of Suction Pipe = to be specified by the Tenderer

Common header = to be specified by the Tenderer NOTE:- Actual laying to be done as per final drawings to be approved by the Engineer in charge.
Providing and lying double loop earthing with coper plate 600x600 x3 thick electrode and copper strip of 25x3 complete including providing of material such as charcoal, common salt, GI pipes, thimbles, nuts & bolts, digging of pits, Copper /GI wire/ Strips of required capacity conforming to BIS 8034-1978 latest with upto date ammendments for above motor & other electriacl equipments including all civil works. (for both machineries). Note. The strip size shall be 20x3 upto 18.5 KW . 25x3 for 18.5 to 37 KW to 55 KW and 32x5 beyond 55 KW.
Errection of all equipments i/c cost of tees,bends tapers & any other fittings required as per site conditions & as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
