REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING RAW WATER PIPELINES RCC OF 600MM DIA WITH DI PIPE FROM WEIGH BRIDGE CENTER TO FRESH WATER PUMP HOUSE INCLUDING ALLIED WORKS AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) (DM) VISAKHAPATNAM

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5M in depth and not exceeding 1.5M wide for laying of pipe and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches exceeding 1.5M in depth but not exc 3.0M depth for laying of pipe and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5M in wide and not exceeding 1.5M depth for cable/pipe and getting out in hard rock/Road/PCC hard standing and making the disturbed surfaces good same as existing before excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in(soil), including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials(soil) not exceeding 50m, depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable RCC pipe of size 600mm including any specials, collars from trenches for taking into schedule of credit by using chain block or any other means complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying laying and testing of 600mm dia DI pipe not less than K9 (socket spigot type) alongwith tyton rubber gasket all as per IS including spares and T&P required for connecting the pipes firmly by using chain block or any other means complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i)The quoted rate is inclusive of MS Bends/DI bends /MS structure/MS pipes/casing pipes required for connecting DI pipes or any fabrication work required in site to make the pipeline functional. (ii)The quoted rate is inclusive of RCC structure for supporting the bends. (iii)The quoted rate is inclusive of making liasonong with external agencies for the clearance of site and prior layout approval to be taken alongwith no of bends required. (iv) Gradient slope to be maintained all as per IS and excavation to be carried out accordingly. (v)The scope of work includes laying pipes at different locations all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

M&L for Mild steel/DI specials framed work with ends of soldered, welded or reveted or forced, framed bends,frame work of tank,frame work for lead joint the DI pipe with existing pipe without any leak and making the surface good with proper cementing etc, filling valvepit and similar work incl painting with one coat of red oxide primer and one coat of anticorrosive black bituminous paint incl dismantling mild steel work of any description not otherwise specially provided for all as specified and directed.

Supplying laying and testing of 150mm DI/CI air release valve including isolated flanged 150mm sluice valve all as per IS including spares and T&P required for connecting the pipes firmly using chain block or by any other means complete all as specified and directed

M&L for valve chamber of internal size not less than 1200 x 1200 x 1200mm with cement brick palstering the surfaces with three coats of white wash incl MS sheet cover of not less than 3mm thickness with MS angle not less than 40mmx40mmx5mm including proper locking arrangement and fabrication for air release valve with flanged sluice valve painting with one coat of red oxide primer and one coat of anticorrosive black bituminous paint including dismantling mild steel work of any description not otherwise specially provided for all as specified and directed.
