Supply and fixing of ventilators made of pre-painted steel (Base steel as per IS 513 of 0.58mm thick “D” Quality galvanized as per IS 277 with zinc of 120 GSM). Primer coated with epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with 5-7 microns thick alkyd backer. Section for outer frame should be of 72x55mm, centre mullion should be of 72x50mm, section for fixed glass beading should be of 12x12mm and section for shutter should be of 48 x 25mm. Outer frame and mullion sections to have rebate for glazed shutters, fly mesh and 20 mm provision for guard bars/ grills fly mesh shutter section should be of 20x40mm. The sections are to be cut to length mitre joined with corner bracket. Centre mullions to be fixed with mullion cap. Elixir or equivalent stay, handles 2nos of heavy duty stain less steel pivot hinges shall be provided per shutter. The windows should be paneled with 4 mm thick plain float glass and S.S. Mesh for fly mesh shutter (304 grade). Rubber Gaskets are provided all around the glass. The above frames should be fixed to the concrete/masonry wall by means of self expanding screws. Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soft/loose soil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing 3 mm thick APP (Atactic polypropylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, weight not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm water proofing membrane, black finished, reinforced with Non-woven polyster matt make as approved over roof consisting of a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm by same membrane manufacturer of density 0.87 to 0.89 Kg/Ltr at 25º C temperature and viscocity 70-160 Cps. over the primer coat, the layer membrane shall be using butane torch and sealing all joints etc. after preparing the surface complete applying two coats of bituminous based Aluminium paint @ 0.2kg/sqm complete over and including 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) on RCC roof slab including cleaning of existing using WPC @ 2% by wt of cement complete as per standard practice as per manufactuter's instructions , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under:- (i) Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 25º C as 650/450 N/5 Cms. (ii) Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N/5 Cms. Softening point of membrane not less than 150º C cold flexiblility up to 20º when tested in accordance with ASTM (D-5147) (iii) The laying of membrane shall be carried out through the manufacturer or their authorized applicator only.

Material and Labour for cleaning the roof top surfaces, brick tiles or concrete surfaces by picking vegitation roots, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and filling and damaged joints of brick tiles in CM 1:4 complete all as specied and directed.

Material and labour for 40mm thick average thickness PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof padding, levelling course and finishing top surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement to receive further roof treatment complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of roof top surface, providing and applying PU based waterproofing and heat reflecting system having properties UV resistant and resistant to yellowing and weathering, high elastic and crack bridging, non-toxic and VOC compliant water based coating, single component ready to use, water vapour permeable having solid content 60% (ASTM D 1644), density 1.30 gm/cc, 350% elongation, tensile strength 2.8 to 2.9 N/sqmm and solar reflective index 100. The material is applied as follows- (a) Applying primer over prepared surface with Homeshield PU roofkoat of Make Berger or equivaent as approved by GE. The material and water in 1:1 ratio by weight having total thickness 0.4 to 0.5mm, glass fibre reinforced and consumption 0.25 kg per sqm. The surface shall be cured for 2-4 Hrs depending on climatic conditions. (b) Applying second coat with Homeshield PU roofkoat of Make Berger or equivaent with consumption 0.50 kg per sqm. The surface shall be cured for 12 Hrs depending on climatic conditions. (c) Applying final coat with Homeshield PU roofkoat of Make Berger or equivaent with consumption 0.50 kg per sqm. Note : (i) The entire work shall be executed through authorized applicator of approved make and gurantee of waterproofing shall be 10 years. (ii) Performance gurantee of amount @5% of waterproofing treatment shall be submitted by contractor for period of 10 years.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded mechanical crushed stone aggregate) for benching, coping shall be 150 mm in radius mixed with acrylic based polymer water proofing compound,including demolition of existing PCC complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (WPC shall be paid separately).

Curing of surface as per site requirements. (b) Clean the surface with broom and apply one coat of birla opus all dry repair master admixed with cement in ratio 1 part cement : 1 part polymer or equivalent. (c) Apply one coat of Birla opus or equivalent all dry repair master admixed with cement in ratio 1 part polymer : 1.5 part cement and application of 45 GSM fibre mesh sandwiched between 1st and 2nd coat of Birla opus all dry repair master or equivaent. (d) MandL for 2 coats of Birla opus C2K or equivalent in vertical and horizontal direction. Sand sprinkling is carried out over the tacky surface of 2nd coat of to make it rough for adhesion.
