Maintenance of different roads under the jurisdiction of PWD(R and B) Jirania Sub-Division during the year 2025-26 S.H Repair to pot holes by shelmac, patch brick soling, placing of gunny bags, stripping of excess soil..(Group IV)

Repair to pot holes/ patch repair on all types of bituminous soe 04 pavement by using All Weather Instant Patch Repair Cold and 3004 Readymix Compound (INSSTAPATTCH/ SHELMAC - PR/ SHALIPATCH or equivalent products accredited by IRC) within specified shelf life including cleaning the existing portion of the road to be repaired by appropriate method, disposal of all failed material, compacting, etc. complete as per relevant technical specification and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (irrespective of recorded premeasured area/ volume of pot holes repaired, to be measured for payment in multiple packs of 25/ 50 kg net HDPE bags with inside LDPE liner actually supplied/delivered & utilised)

Flat brick Soling. Providing and laying flat brick soling layer on prepared subgrade according to lines, grades and cross-section shown on the drawing, filling joints with Earth, free from clay with a Plasticity Index not exceeding 6, watering and rolling the same with three wheeled road roller 80-100 KN as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 412.

Brick Soling.i) Brick on edge soling.Providing and laying brick on edge soling layer on prepared subgrade according to lines, grades and crosssection shown on the drawing, filling joints with sand, watering and rolling the same with three wheeled road roller 80-100 KN as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 412.

Providing and placing gunny/ polythene (of minimum wall thickness of 500 micron) bags filled with sand (of minmum qty of 0.034 cum) and properly manually stitched to avoid any leakage of sand as per specification.

Maintenance of Earthen shoulder (Stripping of excess soil).Stripping excess soil from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor at OMC as per drawing and MoRD technical specification Clause 1903.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits.Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 5000 m as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 301.5.

Surface Drains.Construction of unlined surface drains of average crosssectional area 0.40 sqm in ordinary soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3 m and lead of 50 m (average lead 25 m) as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 307. (i) Surface Drains in Ordinary Soil (A) Manual Means

Supplying and laying mixed class bricks bats in/cl loading unloading stacking properly and carrying to the site of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Single bamboo palasiding/walling of whole 2nd class bamboo (Jati or Bethua) 65 to 75 mm dia and closely packed & driven @ 150 mm c/c including fitting fixing with half bamboo kamis horizontally in three rows with cane or tying with wire complete and struts 1.5 m apart longitudinally and providing bitumen drum sheet walling fixed with nails as per drawing and MoRD technical specification Clause 1302.5. (A) Driven at least 900 mm below ground and 1200 mm above ground on average.
