DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick with soil obtained from excavation complete all as secified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as spcecified directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not, otherwise provided for as in padding over roof slab, roof kers and the like including removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 25mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) laid over roof slab as in padding and applying 15mm thick palster in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- WPC shall be measured and paied seperately)

Supply only integral water proofing compound of approved quality confirming to IS specification complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cills, copings, steps, sesmic and other similar bands, coving, bed, plate and the like including weathering, sightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in manhole covers and the like including removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggrgate) as in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc), chajas, water troughs mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces, set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured and paid saparetly under repective item.

M & L for mild steel TMT bar 10 mm dia & over, cut length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire annealed not less than 0.90 mm dia or securig with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work/stone boulder masonry built in cement mortar including removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks in cement mortar (1:6), straight or curved on plan exc 6 m means radius complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls, built in complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, path and the like, finished fair and even, laid in panels and filling the joints with mixture of bitumen and sand complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 40 mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring, laid in panels, finised even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified.

M & L for rubber moulded chequred cement concrete tiles 20cmx20cmx25mm thick jointed and pointed neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement no pigment incl 15 mm thick screened bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified.

S & F 3mm thick glass dividing strips 38 mm wide, fixed in PCC flooring to conform to design complete all as speciified and directed.

Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 200mm X 300mm X 6 to 7mm thick on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc, laid over and including 10mm thick rendering coat in cement mortar (1:4), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square or rectangular), area of each tile exc 0.11 sqm but not exc 0.18 sqm as in flooring, laid over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6), set and jointed inculding neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for vitrified ceramic tiles 10 mm thick light shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm but not exceeding 0.42 sqm, in floors etc. laid over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified.

Taking down cement plaster from brick/stone masonry walls/ceilings etc including racking out joints hacking for keys and scrubbing down with water etc complete.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick/ concrete surface in CM 1:6 internal walls in patches complete all as specified.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick /concrete surface in CM 1:4 external walls in patches complete all as specified.

Supply and fix vitreous chiana wash basin, white, flat back size 550x400mm including cutting for and pinning in ends of brackets or erecting stand but including connection to existing supply, waste pipe and gratings all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Vitreous China bowl urinal flat back size of 465 x 355 x 265 mm white (minimum), with grating and union for discharge pipe including connection to existing flushing cistern, flush pipe and waste pipe all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blocked floor/nahani trap of kitchen, bathroom, wash hand basin and gullly trap etc up to Ist manhole and disposal of waste materials to a distance n.exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up of existing covers of septic tank of any size and cleaning of same including dewatering and digging out sludge, mud state and removing the sludge to a distance exc 250 m and n.exc 500 m as where directed including cleaning of inlet and outlet pipes and placing the cover in position complete all as specified and directed. Note: Size of tank upto water level shall be measured.

Cleaning of manholes of any size and depth up to 2.00 mtrs under faul condition by removing man hole covers, removing of accumulated liquid, sludge/sediments, transporting the fluid/sludge etc in covered containers and depositing the same out side the camp area/ defence land, cleaning of the manhole with fresh water, placing MH cover back in intact position complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of 100mm bore and upto and including 150 mm bore sewage line including manholes and blocked pipe line and disposal of waste materials/spoils up to a distance not exceeding 50 meter by any means complete all as specified. Note relaying/Refixing or S&F of new pipe etc where required shall be measured separately

Cleaning and removing individual blockage in IWC/EWC and removing sludge and foreign materials completely, neatly and making serviceble for free flow all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from tank and mounth of circulating pipe of water storage tank capacity exc 250 litr but not exc 500 litres complete all as specified and directed.

Note: ATT treatment shall be carried out in post construction stage.

M & L for proviiding and injecting chemical at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.50 ltrs/hole by drilling 6 mm dia. Hole at diwn ward angle of 45 degree at 150 mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified and directed. Note: ATT treatment shall be carried out in post construction stage.
