Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed (NOTE : Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

Supplying & Laying un-reinforced pre cast flat concrete cable protection cover of class HV, type I, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, factory made, complete all as specified and directed .

Fixing / laying only old un-reinforced pre cast flat concrete cable protection cover of any description complete all as specified and directed . Note :- Old concrete cable protection cover retrived under item No.01 herein above shall be reused.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional HT Cable of size 95 Sqmm 3 core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc and Supplying, laying, jointing & testing screened, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured shielded cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 11KV (Earthed) having cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core conforming to IS 7098 Part-II amended upto date complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional HT Cable of size 120 Sqmm 3 core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc and Supplying, laying, jointing & testing screened, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured shielded cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 11KV (Earthed) having cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core conforming to IS 7098 Part-II amended upto date complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional HT Cable of size 185 Sqmm 3 core of any description and in any position from trench/duct/pipe etc and Supplying, laying, jointing & testing screened, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured shielded cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 11KV (Earthed) having cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3 core conforming to IS 7098 Part-II amended upto date complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old Unserviceable HT joint complete and Supply , jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrink type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 Sq mm complete all as specified and ditected.

Disconnecting and taking out old Unserviceable HT joint complete and Supply , jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrink type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm to 185 Sq mm complete all as specified and ditected.

Disconnecting and taking out old Unserviceable HT joint complete and Supply , jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through, heat shrink type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm to 185 Sq mm complete all as specified and ditected.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable HT porcelain bushing from 33/11 KV outdoor transformer of capacity 3.15 MVA complete and supply and fixing HT porcelain bushing of same size & specification in 33/11 KV outdoor transformer of capacity 3.15 MVA complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable HT brass set stem from 33/11 KV outdoor transformer of capacity 3.15 MVA complete and supply and fixing new HT side brass set stem with nuts, bolts and washers etc of same size & specification in 33/11 KV outdoor transformer of capacity 3.15 MVA complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling,and taking out of unserviceable current Transformer from HT complete & Supplying installing commissioning and testing of new current transformer,outdoor epoxy type, ratio 180/0.578 conforming to IS 2705 part I of 1981, 50 Hz for HT 11 KV having insulation level class1-P10, IL-28/75kv , burden of 15VA and breaking capacity 18.4 KA for 1.0 second and necessary thimbles nut bolts etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for spreading crushed/hand broken 40 mm graded sand stone aggregate around and under 4 pole/ 2 pole structure uniformally complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Spread thickness of aggregates shall be measured and cubical content shall be worked out with deduction of 50% for voids for arriving at net qty.

Disconnecting, dismantling / opening/exsiting, non functional VCB of any description and any make of rating 11 KV,400/630 Amps capacity for servicing / overhauling, taking out and removing unserviceable/defective parts including cleaning & servicing ,greasing, oiling of the parts etc and replacement of unserviceable parts with new one, reassembling the VCB after overhauling / servicing and its testing complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in these item

Disconnecting and taking down carefully old unserviceable GI strip of any type and size and Material and labour for laying along the wall/roof GI strip of size 32mm x 6mm complete with all accessories such as porcelain insulators, saddles and fixing screw etc for conductor all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling / opening non functional VCB of any description and any make of rating 33 KV,1250 Amps capacity for servicing / overhauling, taking out and removing unserviceable/defective parts including cleaning & servicing ,greasing, oiling of the parts etc and replacement of unserviceable parts with new one, reassembling the VCB after overhauling / servicing and its testing complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in these item

M & L for servicing/ overhauling of HT 11 KV 3 phase capacitor bank of rating 74x6= 444 KVAr along with series reactor of 11 KV 3 phase 0.90 KVAr, oil cooled and residual voltage transformer by cleaning complete, checking bus bar connection, including replacement of unserviceable accessories, nut bolts, topping up oil ,making connections and testing complete all as specified and directed Notes :- (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in these item (ii) Fresh oil required for top up shall be measured as “supply only” but its heating and filling shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor for above items. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e.nut, bolt washers, etc.

M & L for cutting chases in hard standing road/path/drain etc for passing cables/pipes etc. size of cutting 100mm wide and 200mm deep and removing the excavated materials and disposal at 50 metre distance and making good the cutting after the pipe and cables are laid with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable 33 KV isolator switch any type complete and Supply, fixing, commissioning and testing of outdoor, isolator, double break , rotating type horizontally mounting 33 KV switch, single throw double break off load type, of current rating upto 200 Amps with insulators, triple pole, each pole consisting of galvanized steel base, HT 33 KV insulators as per IS, non ferrous knife, bearing assembly and spring, loaded contacts, arcing horns of adequate section to break magnetizing current of the transformers, horizontal GI pipe of adequate length for phase separation, adequate length of GI pipes for operation from ground level and operating handle with locking arrangement complete in both OFF & ON positions. All ferrous parts hot dipped galvanized and non ferrous heavily tinned to withstand weather and suitable for horizontal mounting complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserveceable battery charger and Supply ,Installation, commissioning and testing of 30 Volt DC ,low maintenance type chargeable stationary battery set comprising of 15 cells of 02 volts each having 150 Amp Hour capacity batteries including battery charging set of adequate capacity and control equipment in sheet steel cabinet of 2.0 mm thick floor mounted type suitable for input of 230 volts single phase 50 Hz AC complete with internal & External wiring of all components accessories, all as specified for 11 KV VCB panels, with complete control wiring ( for connecting the DC tripping system to HT 11 KV VCB panel board of main Receiving station of IRDE complete ) shall be of copper conductor single core and size not less than 2.5 Sqmm ( control wiring up to VCB panel shall be inclusive in this item ) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of Old unserviceable batteries 12 Volt, 150 AH, from HT sub station and supply & fixing maintenance free batteries of 12 Volt, 180 AH capacity with electrolyte fully charged battery including interconnection, commissioning and testing complete all as specified & directed .

S&F T N C switch 10A/110 Volt for 11 KV VCB Panel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

S&F 11 KV panel indicating lamp fitting LED type suitable for 24 volt/30volt DC complete with base complete all as specified.

Preparation of surfaces of VCB Panel Board cubical in shape applying two coat of synthetic enamelled paint of approved colour including supplying and fixing PVC name plate indicating different cable/switch and other accessories, connections complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Filtration and dehydration of transformer oil through filtration plant (Dehydration/centrifuging of transformer oil by means centrifuging machine electrically operated at site of installation of transformer in running condition of transformer including testing of transformer oil before and after centrifuging from top and bottom of transformer complete ) to improve the dielectric strength/insulation value of the transformer oil upto 65 KV/40 KV (RMS) at 2.5 mm gap and filling in transformer 33/11KV, etc complete all as specified and directed Note :- (a) The contractor shall obtain shut down orders in writing before commencement of the work from Engineer-in-charge (b) The contractor shall avoid wastage of existing transformer oil. (c) The contractor shall be solely responsible for any damages to the transformer during process of oil filtration. He is responsible for making good any damage to the transformer at his own cost without any extra cost to the department. (d) The contractor shall ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before commencement of dehydration process. (e) Additional qty of transformer oil if any required for making the oil level upto the requirement in transformer shall be measured and paid separately as supply and filling but its cost of heating shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for above item.

Supply, and filling/topping up of transformer insulating oil EHV grade having dielectric strength 65 KV/40 KV (R.M.S) at 2.50mm gap high viscosity confirming to IS – 335 of 1983 in various capacity of transformer 33 /11KV, and 11/0.433 KV respectivelly complete all as specified and directed .

Dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable lightening arrestor of any capacity and any description complete Supply, fixing, commissioning & testing of single pole zinc oxide (gapless surge type) heavy duty station class, self supporting outdoor type lightening arrestor having rated voltage 30 KV (RMS) discharge current 10 KA, insulation level 70/170 KV suitable for rated system voltage of 36 KV supply system with maximum continiuos operating voltage (MCOV) not less than 25.5 KV (RMS) with highly non linear ceramic resistor made of zinc oxide in hermetically sealed container complete with metal base, base inculcator and suitable terminals for ground connection and pressure relieving arrangement including brackets, clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out out old existing unserviceable/ corroded GI tubing of any description and in any position and Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 80 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / ducts/pole post etc complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling & mass concrete, sub base complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in cills, steps, copings, holdfast and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed with and including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out of old existing unserviceable insulators of any description and in any position from HT poles and Supply & fixing pin type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators,for working pressure 11000 volts of size 150mm height and 150 mm dia including one galvanized mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, etc for HT lines fixed on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out of old existing unserviceable insulators of any description and in any position from HT poles and Supply & fixing disc type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators,for working pressure 11000 volts of size 145mm height and 255 mm dia including two in series assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, etc for HT lines fixed on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking down of existing worn out / unserviceable aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any description /size & in any position from existing HT Poles/Lines and supply and laying of aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/description on HT poles/lines including stringing, tightening, binding to insulators with aluminium wire making and connecting jumpers, connections etc including connecting, commissioning and testing complete all as specified & directed .

M&L for Opening /disconnecting ACSR conductor of any size from poles or distribution span after opening of binding from insulator etc and Rebinding after tightening / restringing of ACSR/AAC/HT over head conductors of any size with and including aluminium binding wire in original position and connecting jumpers connections etc and testing complete all as specified & directed . Notes:- (i) The quoted rate is inclusive of the cost of Setting /adjusting of cradles in positions. Adjusting & tighting of stay assembly where ever required. (ii) The quoted rate is inclusive of the cost of Old spacers of ACSR conductor shall be reused and fixed. Disconnecting & taking down existing unserveceable PT any description any position, and supply, fixing, installation and testing of PT outdoor type oil cooled,33kv/110volt, HSV-36kv,single phase,IL-70/170kv,VF-1.2 times contineous & 1.5 times for 30 sec,burden-100VA, class-1.0,Earthed type complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replecement of UNSV jumper with weasel conductor suitable for HT, 11000 volts grade required at site with suitable size of luge on both end including proper crimpinf etc.complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of pole structure of straight steel tubular poles 11 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and anti clibing device,protection pipe etc and applying one coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles structure of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of poles including writing pole No and other sign works with white paint over black painted base in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified & directed.Note : Size of black painted base for numbering shall be 100mmx25mm and the size of numbers shall be not exceeding 10cm height.
