Engaging skilled Plumber with necessary tools and miscellaneous minor fittings such as Telxon tape, washers, jumper valves etc. for attending the day to day complaints , minor repair works, fixing / replacing the damaged fittings such as taps/ wash basins, EWC/IWC, flushing cisterns, Replacing damaged PVC/GI pipe lines, PVC rain water pipes and fittings, pumping water to the Hospital buildings and staff quarters including minor repairing and maintenance of Pumps and periodic chlorination of open wells etc. all works connected with internal/ external water supply lines, water supply fittings/ fixtures, sanitary installations, OHT etc. of ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. as directed by the Engineer in charge From 6.00 AM to 10.00 PMon all days including Sundays.

Plumber in one shift From 9 AM to 5 PM in one shift of 8 hours duty two shifts on all days including Sundays.

Engaging sewer man for attending complaints on sewer/drainage lines, removing blockage in Drainage/ sewer lines, Gully traps, Manholes and Septic tanks etc. in the campus of ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

One sewer man in one shift from 9 AM to 5 PM on all days excluding Sundays or any one off day per week in lieu of working on Sundays in exigence of work.

Engaging Beldar (Male Mazdoor) for assisting plumber in attending the day to day complaints of all sorts of Internal water supply/External water supply/sanitary installations/assisting carpenter in repair works/ cleaning open area in campus/ assisting sewer man in clearing blockages/ clearing silting storm water drains including removing and replacing RCC covers, removing growth of baniyan tree on walls and Terraces, cutting branches of trees up to 20 cm in diameter etc. in ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. (Mazdoor is not to be specifically attached with any skilled worker and suppose to attend all woks assigned to him and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

One Beldar (male mazdoor) in one shift of eight hours between any time from 6 AM to 10.00 PM on all days including Sundays.

Beldar 2nd (male mazdoor) in one shift of eight hours between any time from 6 AM to 10.00 PM on all days excluding Sundays or any one off day per week in lieu of working on Sundays in exigence of work.

Engaging Skilled Carpenter/ Aluminium Fabricator with necessary tools and miscellaneous fittings such as screws and sleeves etc. in attending complaints regarding all steel/wooden/Aluminium doors, windows /partitions in the ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. as directed by the Engineer in charge.

In one shift from 9 AM to 5 PM on daily basis as and when required by the Engineer in charge.

Supervision of all works related to the contract i.e. staff deployment, maintenance, repair works, etc. ensuring that the persons engaged are bonafidely discharging their duties, ensuring that the complaints are attended within the shortest time possible by workers to the satisfaction of Users, Liaison with ESIC Engineers and users, maintaining record of all works done under the Contract in ESI Hospital and Staff Quarters at Ernakulam and ESI Dispensaries and Staff Quarters attached to ESI Hospital, Ernakulam at Ernakulam (I and II), Thoppumpady and Fort Kochi, ESIC Branch Office at Ernakulam- all in Ernakulam Dist. obtaining user certificates from user authorities in writing either in the task register to be maintained or through letters , arranging Testing of water samples through Govt. Lab as and when required and as directed by Engineer in charge.

One supervisor in one shift from 9 AM to 5 PM on alternative days on daily basis excluding Sundays or any one-off day per week in lieu of working on Sundays in exigence of work.

Cleaning of septic tank of size up to 5 x2x 2 m including removing and refixing the cover slab, fully de sludging and emptying the tank either manually or by truck mounted sucking units including disposing the sludge either to the Municipal dumping yard or locally by making earth pits and refilling with earth etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.( A photograph of cleaned septic tank bottom shall be provided along with the bill for payment).

Providing Inspection vehicle such as Non-AC Jeep, Indica car or equivalent of registration not earlier than 2015 on daily call basis including Driver data, fuel and maintenance /repair charges and up to 100 km per day running etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Extra for running Inspection vehicle as Per item No.6 beyond 100 km per day.

Providing electric welding with portable welding machines including welding rod cost for minor welding repair etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Cutting branches of trees of the girth (measured 1 m from stem ), including cutting of trunks and branches, and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.

Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth.

Beyond 120 cm girth upto and including 240 cm girth.

White washing with lime to give an even shade :

New work (three or more coats)

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

15 mm cement plaster on terrace finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix 1:3( 1 cement: 3 fine sand) including making false markings of 30 cm x 30 cm with nylon thread of 6 mm dia.

Providing and applying cementitious acrylic slurry for waterproofing treatment to the RCC structures like RCC roof slabs, retaining walls of the basement, water tanks,podiums,reservoir, sewage and water treatment structure etc., prepared by mixing 4 liters acrylic co polymer emulsion ( Liquid component of Brush bond or equivalent)in the ratio of 4:4 ( 4 liters of acrylic co polymer emulsion: 4 liters of water), mixed further with 23 kg of powder component of Brush bond or equivalent stirred well and applied to surface to be treated with synthetic/ fibre brushes @ 1.10 kg per sqm for horizontal and 1.40 kg per sqm for vertical surfaces in two or more coats as per site condtions each coat to be applied after hand touch dry of prevous coat all including cleanig the surface with water jet/ wire brushes to remove loose particles and fungus growth, patch up of broken surfaces with cement plaster 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 fine sand ) and filling the cracks/ grooves etc with silicon sealant or crack filler of FOSROC or equivalent etc one day before treating with cementiotios arylic slurry etc. including wetting the surface on the dy of application etc.complete as directed by the Engineer in charge .( The treatment to carry a performance guarantee against any leakage for 10 years.)

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

25mm average thickness.

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped/spalling of ceiling portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.

SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer.

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).
