M& L for 3 core 1.0 Sqmm multistranded copper conductor PVC insulated unsheathed cable to connect from junction box to street light fitting drawn through and including rigid non metallic PVC conduit medium grade fixed on pole by means of clamps made out of MS flat irons and connecting from terminal box to light fitting and testing including taking down existing perished wiring complete all as directed complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and brooming and clearing tree branches/ plants/ bushes obstructing the LT poles up to girth of 30cm on both sides including disposal of materials to a distance of 50 meters complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note: The quoted rate is inclusive of T & P as required for the work.

M& L for cleaning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and trees and rubish upto a distance a 50 mtr out side / inside the periphery of the area under clearance of HT yard/ sub station area complete all as specified.

Checking of street light / flood light/ solar light of any type or description, fixed in vertical position with poles / high mast / wall/ bldg security light, including disconnecting the electric connection and taking down from pole / high mast / wall. Cleaning of acrylic/glass sheet cover with detergent powder, and refixing the same after necessary repairs including replacing defective items provided under relevant items of Sch 'A' here-in-after as supply & fixing only, replacing of fuses, small wires of any size and description upto 1.0 mtrs, screw, washer for fixing of accessories, making all electric connection, testing for functioning, by engaging sufficient man power and tool & plant etc to ensure safety of light / pole as well as working team complete all as directed.

Note : (a) Any kind of replacement of major items shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of schedule. (b) The cost of Tool & plant for street light repairing vehicle is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra payment will be paid to the contractor in this effect. (c) Contractor shall arrange a staff to monitor the street light repairing team and maintain the complaint register and complaint slip. (d) Complaint once lodged should be rectified within 24 hrs and after rectification slip should be signed by JE E/M.

Notes contd : e) If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 24hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for rectifying the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then 24 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforced above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. (l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Note for item Ser No 22 to 30 (i) Quoted rate is deemed to include rate of cable connection upto 0.5 mtr long of size 3 core x 0.75 sqmm. (iii) Contractor shall be bound to give warranty of minimum 3 yrs from date of installation for fittings.

Taking shut down LT Supply from Servo voltage stabilizer air cooled of capacity 12 KVA to 50 KVA and disconnecting cable from input/ out put terminal after opening the door for cleaning and servicing/ cleaning through the cleaning materials, checking of all check points/ terminal points, tuning of circuit, minor repairs of control card for smooth operating/ functioning of the equipments as per manufacturer instructions, including cleaning replacment of old u/s parts with new branded parts, complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces by cleaning / scraping with wire brush, removing fungus/algae and dust of pre stressed concrete poles of size 7.5 Mtr above ground level and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint to the pole including coping and applying two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on street light brackets/ clamps, etc and writing pole number in Black & white paint (Number shall be 50 mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note : The quoted rate inclusive of two coats of Painting Blue and white strips in alternate layers with synthetic enamel paint up to 1 mtr height above coping of pole as directed.)

M&L for cleaning, scrubbing and preparation of old, rusted painted surface of existing steel tubular pole of 09 to 11 mtr height complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels/ brackets, street light brackets, cross arms and making black & white alternative strips of 30 cm height with synthetic enamelled paint and upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint complete all as directed.

Disconnecting the old battery from the solar light pole after opening the sheet metal box and M& L, installation in-replacement of Lead acid battery 120 AH 12 Volts suitable for existing solar street light in various location all as specified. Note: Contractor shall summit the warranty of battery minimum 24 month after installation.

M&L for road cutting, including excavation, returning filling in, spreading, leveling, well ramming in layers, soiling with broken boulders/ stones, WBM 7.5 cm thick coarse aggregate received from dismantling the existing road, premix, carpeting 25 mm thick using ready mix patch mate material, rolled and compacted for road patch repair work, complete all as directed.

Taking out battery from rusted battery box mounted on solar street light pole, dismantling the old rusted box and M&L for refixing of new battery box with minimum thickness of sheet 3.15 mm for the battery 12 volts 120 AH or as per existing size complete including two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of synthetic primer all as specified.

M&L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, angle iron, flats and back plates fabricated from MS structural steel sections including nuts, bolts and washers of suitable sizes including welding, bending (cold or hot), drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer, complete all as directed.

M&L for road cutting, including excavation, returning filling in, spreading, leveling, well ramming in layers, soiling with broken boudders/ stones, WBM 7.5 cm thick coarse aggregate received from dismantling the existing road, premix, carpeting 25 mm thick using ready mix patch mate material, rolled and compacted for road patch repair work, complete all as directed.

S&F in replacement street light panel 3 phase frame of capacity 40 A 3 Pole incl Digital timer, power contact, isolator 4 pole, indicator lamps with switch for bypass arrangement and fixing by making proper foundation with angle iron frame or fixed in pole all as directed by Engr -in-charge. Make : Indoasian Part No TL040DB0/ L&T/ Havells.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MCCB, 415 volts, four pole of capacity 100 Amps, 25 KA, adjustable thermal- magnetic release, including spreader terminals, phase barriers, thimbles of suitable size etc and making electric connections and taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as directed. Make: Legrand/ L&T.
