Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil (i.e. soft/ loose or hard/ dense soil) complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

M&L for cutting of existing road for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 90cm and width 45cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed complete all as directed.

M&L for filling approved dry river sand for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable in trenches 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm deep over the cable and punning to 18 cm total thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Approved dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Taking down carefully old existing HT PCC Cable Cover of Class EHV / HVP / HV of any type & size complete all as specified & as directed.

Laying only HT PCC cable covers of any type & size for protection of UG HT electric cables in trenches, obtained serviceable from serial item No. 6 here-in-above, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast cement concrete cable covers, Class HV, Type-1, Flat, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40mm for protection of underground electric cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

Taking down old existing aluminium strip & GI strip of any size including testing points, porcelain insulators, PCC blocks, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fix to aluminium strip, nut, bolts and washers including taking down existing air termination complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm buried in ground / fixed on wall complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws, enclosed in suitable PVC box, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for precast PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bed blocks, anchorage blocks, foundation blocks, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, cover slabs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including placing in position over roof etc and set in CM (1:4) complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F porcelain insulator of overall minimum size 72mm x 32mm x 34mm (single pole bus bar support insulator) suitable for fixing aluminium/GI strip roof/down conductors, fixed in PCC blocks/walls/pole/pipe with two Nos hexagonal head GI screws 40mm long, one No. hexagonal head GI bolt 30mm long & 5-6mm dia with one No. square shaped GI washer of size 25x25mm & 0.6-0.8mm thickness & one No. GI nut for fixing/running the roof/down conductors, conforming to the sample kept in GE’s office, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Cost of screws, bolt, washer & nut is included in quoted rates.

M&L for Earthing with & including galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to & including galvanized mild steel strip 32x6 mm as earth lead, including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted/welded to earth plate at one end and other end of strip connected to Panel / transformer / GOD / equipment body / test point with two Nos nuts bolts or welding with steel structure, GI earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate upto 7.5 metre above ground level fixed with and including 25x3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from earth pit to top of electrode and including funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and 40mm thick RCC (1:2:4 type B1) cover complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable earthing of any type. Note : PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 32mm bore, light grade, ISI marked, with & including all fittings and fixed to walls / ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified & as directed.
