REPAIRS/RESURFACING OF ROAD IN PAPNASH AND HAWK AREA AT AFS BIDAR

Repairs to Pot holes of any depth, not exc. 1 Sqm each including, sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting aound edges at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), depth of pot holes n.exc 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with steel wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Applying evenly a tack coat with hot pressure spray using RS (Rapid Setting) Bitumen Cationic Emulsion conforming to IS-8887/ASTMD-2397@ 2.5Kg/10Sqm on Bituminous Macadam / Black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix dense bituminous macadam (DBM)(consolidated thickness 75mm or less) in single layer (completed thickness) with 4% binder (using paving bitumen of grade VG- 30) by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using vibratory/pneumatic and tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (i) No extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for more quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch 'A' on plus side. However price adjustment shall be made for less quantity of binder content used in the work. (ii) Design mix for bituminous premix dense macadam shall be got designed from approved lab/institutions and approval of CWE shall be obtained. Hot mix plant shall also be inspected & approved by the rep detailed by Accepting officer.

M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm (consolidated thickness)in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% minimum binder content mixed by weight of total mix as wearing course, using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller complete all as specified. Note :- (i) No extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for extra quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch "A" on plus side. However price adjustment shall be made for less quantity of binder content used in the work. (ii) Design mix for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be got designed from approved lab/institut and approval of CWE shall be obtained. Hot mix plant shall also be inspected & approved by the rep detailed by Accepting officer.

M & L painting on road surfaces with road marking paint reflective type 2.50 mm thickness and not exceeding 100 mm wide of uniform finish hot applied thermoplastic paint with machine of bituminous paint white in colour and surface immersed with glass beads including cleaning the surfaces by brushing/ sweeping by brooms to remove all dirts, scales of grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Prismatic reflactor Cats Eye Road stud HIPS (Hi-impact polystrene) or ABS body plastic moulded minimum load carrying 10Ton, dual directional reflective with micro primastic/cube corner reflectors, to be fixed with epoxy glue or suitable size nails on bituminous/concrete surfaces with one year warranty of fixing on surfaces and minimum size shall be 100 x 100x 15mm, colour of Cat eye's as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed. S & F in repairs Solar Cats Eye Road stud moulded plastic HIPS (Hi-impact polystrene) or ABS body, minimum load carrying 10Tons, dual directional reflective to be fixed with epoxy glue or suitable size nails on bituminous/concrete surfaces with one year warranty of fixing on surfaces and minimum size shall be 100 x 100 x 20mm, colour of Cat eye's as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed. S & F in repair speed breaker of size 250x450x50 mm having 4 holes including 4 nails and fixed in epoxy compound complete all as specified and directed. MAKE:- Pioneer Swift/3M/Dark eye/Asian/TATABP
