1 Rewinding of 5 HP 1425 rpm 415 V Delta 50 Hz 3 phase induction motor installed at Boys Hostel of GMC, Jammu by the way of dismantling from its installed place and then carriage of motor to workshop for repairing. Job includes rewinding of the motor by way of complete extraction of the burnt copper windings from the motor and then providing /fitting of new copper windings of suitable gauge as per old sample and then varnishing it properly and drying of stator The job includes p/f of bearings as per old sample. The job also includes carriage of the motor back to site and assemble it at its original place, making all the electrical connections and testing the motor on full load. 2 Repair and Servicing of Water Coolers Make: Ion Exchange installed at different locations of Boys Hostel GMC, Jammu by way of dismantling of old defunct filter and providing and fitting of new commercial filter of Capacity 120 LPH. The filter must have Multistage Purification, self-cleaning system, 50 % recovery rate, Purification Technolgy: RO+UV+MTDS, with sediment filter and Activated Carbon Filter. Make: Ion Exchage Zero B. The job includes dismantling of old defunct filter, shut off the water supply, attaching the filter housing to the water lines, ensuring correct inlet and outlet connections as indicated on the filter unit. Tightening fittings securely with the appropriate wrenches, being careful not to overtighten and damage the connections, identifying suitable mounting points and securely attaching the filter housing to a wall or the water cooler unit using screws and the provided brackets. Ensuring the filter is level and stable is important, opening the filter housing and inserting the correct filter cartridge according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensuring it's properly seated and sealed is crucial, closing and securing the filter housing, ensuring a tight seal to prevent leaks, gradually reopening the water shut-off valve and checking for any leaks at the connections, tightening fittings further if any leaks are observed. The job includes flushing of the filter to remove any air or manufacturing residue. The job includes thoroughly checking all connections and the filter housing for any signs of leaks after the system has been pressurized. The job includes complete testing and commissioning of filter.
