Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m in depth deep for laying of pipe, cable, foundation of electric pole etc and getting out in hard soil, complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches exceeding 1.5m in depth but not exceeding 3.00 m deep for laying of pipe, cable, foundation of electric pole etc and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, and well ramming, in layers not exceeding 25 cm each layer of any kind of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material from site not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cleaning of transformer yard and filling with pebbles/broken stone not exceeding 40 mm around four pole, two pole, three pole structure complete all as specified and directed

M & L cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in coping padestal to poles including provision of necessary form work finishing the exposed surface even and smooth complete all as specified.

M&L Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation filling & mass concrete for poles/struts/stays assembly including provision of necessary form work finishing the exposed surface even and smooth in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

Cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation filling & mass concrete for poles/struts/stays assembly including provision of necessary form work finishing the exposed surface even and smooth in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&LSand cushioning with clean dry sand to cables with layer of sand 8cm before laying of cable and 15cm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified. Note : For payment purpose punned thickness of 18 cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23cm as mentioned in para 19.75 of SSR part-I.

S & F HT heat shrinkable type outdoor end termination cable jointing kit with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11000 volt (Earthed) grade XLPE cable of size 120 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified.

Dismantling of ACSR conductors alongwith accessories from existing pole complete all as specified.

Material and labour for replacement ACSR conductor WEASEL (6/1/2.59 mm) any size drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag ,jointing jumpers,etc complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete all as specified.

M & L Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending (cold or hot), drilling holes for bolts, bent to any shape or size as directed and inclusive of one primer coat of red oxide, one under coat of zinc oxide and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified.

M&L Stay assembly complete comprising of 20mm dia 40cm long stay bow rod 16 mm dia X 1.8 meter long stay rod threaded and with nuts including 300 mmX300mm X6mm thick plate necessary clamps etc as shown on electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part-I, 2009, complete all as specified. NOTE: Insulator, stay clamps, excavation earthwork and concrete shall be measured and paid for separately.

Dismantling and taking down carefully any type of insulators complete all as specified.

S&F Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully unserviceable air break gang operated switch of any description including all acessories from HT two/four pole structure for necessary repair/maintenance/replacement complete.

S&F Switches air break gang operated,(GO & DO complete assembly) , mechanically operated, mounted on 15 insulator and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, for current rating upto 400 amp, 11000 volt and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized cast iron earth plate electrode 600 x600x6.0mm buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts,nuts, and galvanized iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No.05 of SSR Part-1 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including earth work in any type of soil, charcoal salt 15cm around the earth plant as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I, 20 mm dia watering pipe light grade 1.70 mtr long with plug at top, GI protection pipe light grade 15 mm dia from earth pit to main boad including testing after completioncomplete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Maximum length of GI wire, protection pipe with each earth shall not exceed 7.5 mtrs. (ii) The 20 mm dia watering pipe shall be 20 cm above the ground level and be provided with 20 mm dia GI plug at its top and no concrete watering pit/cover shall be provided.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate, electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6mm as earthing lead covered with 40mm bore GI pipe light grade by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, connected to earthing test point, earth plate electrode surrounded by mixer of common salt and charcoal dust, including 20 mm dia GI watering pipe 'medium grade', funnel with wire mesh, earthing chamber with cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1, RCC chamber cover 80 mm thick (1:2:4) type B-1, excavating & earth work all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR (Part-I) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Length upto 7.5m of GI strip is inclusive in unit rate.

M&L painting to surfaces of poles of any description, 11 metre height, up to 2400 mm height (from top of PCC coping) with a coat of synthetic enamel paint in alternate strips 300 mm high each in yellow and black paint and rest of pole with a coat aluminium paint including numbering on poles, complete all as specified. Note:-The numbering shall be hand written only stencils shall not be allowed, size of letter shall be 50 mm high and 10 mm wide.

Disconnecting defective outdoor/ indoor power distribution transformer of capacity 250 KVA to upto and including 500 KVA from HT/ LT sides draining out complete transformer oil & storing the same in suitable containers ( to be arranged by contractor ) opening the top cover and lifting up the core assembly carefully to check the condition of transformer winding core retanking the same after repair refilling the transformer oil after dehydration and filteration (dehydration and filteration to be paid separately) including checking of leakage of transformer body and welding works required for making transformer body leak proof transportation of transformer to and from site to work shop and re-installation the same at any site complete all as specified and directed. Note for Ser item No -29 to 35 :- (a) The materials required for rectification of defects such as rewinding/ core/ transformer oil, bushes etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. (b) The above item will be measured & paid only in case of Transformer is carried for rewinding in the workshop. (c) Rates for these items include for Hiring of transformer by the contractor for the time taken to repair the unserviceable transformer of capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA (step down copper wound outdoor/indoor) including transportaion of hired transformer and disconnection/connection complete. (d) If defective transformer not deliver within 15 days after repair then this item will become inoperative & penality will be charged at the rate of 2000/- per day from the 16th day onwards.

Replacement of burnt /defective HT copper coil with new one made out of super enamelled heavy duty copper wires of size matching to the existing one including varnishing, drying and insulating material in transformer size from 250 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of burnt /defective LT copper coil with new one made out of super enameled heavy duty copper wires of size matching to the existing one including varnishing, drying and insulating material in transformer size from 250 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reconditioning of existing LT/HT copper coil after dismantling the LT/ HT winding from the transformer and providing necessary material for varnishing insulation sleeves,insulation material etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L replacement of defective/ cracked HT porcelain bushing (set of three) of suitable size for transformer above 200KVA and upto 500 KVA including washers of good quality complete all as specified and directed.

M&L replacement of transparent type silica gel breather of suitable size of transformer capacity 250 KVA to 500 KVA connected to air column with conservator tank complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling transformer oil for topping up the level of oil having dielectric strength 40-60 KV during filling after initial filteration, conforming to relevent IS-335 (Transformer oil to be supplied in sealed container) complete all as specified and directed.

Dehydration and filteration of existing transformer oil using transformer oil filteration plant to eliminate foreign particles and to improve di-electric strength upto 60 KV at 2.5 mm electrode gap and to bring the acidity within the permissible limit.

Material and labour for taking out old the insulators bindings and jumperings and stretching of the sagged ACSR Conductors/ GI earth continuous wire on pole including making insulators bindings and jumpering using new aluminium binding wires complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth run of ACSR Conductor/GI wire will be measured as unit length.

Supplying & laying factory made unreinforced Precasted cable cover LV type 1 Size 250x150x40mm size including replacing old one complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down carefully any type/size of pole complete all as specified.

Supply & Fixing of existing unserviceable Wood/ Steel tubular pole with new Steel tublur swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolt, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 ( 9 mtr long ) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid separately .

Taking out the corroded GI tubing light grade from trenches / on pole / on wall of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for GI tubing light grade 50 mm bore for passing through cables under the floor ,along the wall or along the pole complete all as specified and directed.
