Painting upstream phase of Idukki Dam

Cleaning and removing dirt, dust, birds excreta, grease, oil , algae, fungus, monkey beats, vegetable growth etc including washing the surface with the help of required scrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet without causing any damage to the surface and finally washing the surface with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine etc complete in all respects including taking all precautions to avoid any damages to the dam body/structures, Upstream face of dam, outer face of parapet u/s and d/s ( for the portion of the dam upstream area and parapet area were winch and cradle to be used)..including cost of undertaking ESMP requirements.

Finishing the upstream face of dam body with white reflective paint (Coolcoat, coolroof , zoprotect or equivalent as per specification) two coats over the cleaned and dried dam surface after filling the cavities if any with cement mortar 1:3 and its appurtenants, so that the first coat should be applied with brush/roller/spray gun and allow to dry for 3 to 4 hrs ( until completely dry) and apply the second coat and allow it to dry for next 48 Hrs, including all cost of materials, scaffoldings, charges for covering of the painted area from weather, etc complete as per the direction of departmental officers ( for the portion of the dam that can be done by winch and cradle platform)..including cost of undertaking ESMP requirements

Pressure washing Cheruthoni Dam

Cleaning the down stream face of the dam and its appurtenances by removing dirt, dust, bird excretion, grease, oil, algae, fungus, monkey beats, vegetable growth etc., including washing the surface with the help of required scrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet without causing any damage to the surface and finally washing the surface with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine, complete in all respect, including taking all precautions to safeguard structure, all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge by using winch and cradle (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved).

Filling cavities/Honey combs on the downstream face of the dam with cement mortar 1:3 using bonding agent Nitobond SBR/equivalent materials, filling of voids and small openings with high strength non shrink UV resistant,abrasion and chemical resistant impermeable cementitious mortar having minimum adhesive bond strength of 2 Mpa and confirming to EN 1504(Class R4) standards and then resurfacing with the same material for a thickness of 12mm including patch work,scaffolding, cost and conveyance of all materials and all labour charge for watering curing etc and disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead etc complete as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.
