Cleaning of under ground sewer lines of any type and size exceeding 100 mm dia and not exceeding 200 mm dia including manhole upto 2 m depth and removing sludge upto 200 mtr of any type of blockage of any kind of manhole or lines by means cleaning through manually by using bamboos, rodding, including desludging descaling & clear the chocking where ever flushing the entire stretch complete all as specified and directed.
Cleaning of brick/cement concrete open drains of any type and size exceeding and removing sludge to 50 mtr distance complete all as specified and directed.
Removing blockage from WC's, traps (P-trap/floor trap/nahani trap/gully trap etc) inside the buildings at any floor including cleaning and flushing the pipes upto first man hole as per complaints recieved day to day complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : - This item inculdes cleaning of each trap & pipes of toilet block/kitchen irrespective of length of pipes involved up to first man hole and altogether shall be taken as one job for payment purpose.
Cleaning of manholes/grease traps upto 1.5 metre depth and removal of sludge/silt etc (in foul conditions) to outside MOD land, including testing of manholes by filling with water complete all as specified and directed.
All as per item No 4.00 above but depth exc 1.50 m and not exc 2.50 metre complete all as specified and directed. NOTES for item No 1.00 to 5.00 above: - (i) Contractor shall provide 01 Safaiwala and 01 helper on daily routine basis on commencement of work and they should attend office of Engineer-in-Charge at 0900 hrs to note down the details of complaint for attending the same and shall report at 1600 hrs i.e. is after completion of complaints. (ii) Attendance register shall be maintained in the office Engineer-in-Charge by the JE (Civil) concerned for maintaining daily attendance duly signed by MES Executive. (iii) In case of failure for not providing sufficient manpower by the contractor, a penalty at the rate of Rs. 1000 per Safaiwala per day and Rs 600 per Helper per day shall be levied upon the contractor and recovery for the same shall be affected from contractor's dues. (iv) Particulars and details of Safaiwala & Helper alongwith supporting documents shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge immediately after handing over of site.
Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar incl all quoins, pillars arches etc complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for brick work, with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 using old size bricks complete all as specified and directed.
All as per item No 7.00 above but except bricks, using old bricks retrived from dismantling from item No 6 here-in-before, including cleaning, removing mortar from the bricks complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:4 as in drains including nescessary filling & jointing with cement mortar on other side of drain complete all as specified and directed.
All as per item No 9.00 above but except bricks, using old bricks retrived from dismantling from item No 6 here-in-before, including cleaning, removing mortar from the bricks complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for cement plaster 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work in cement mortar (1:4) and finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6, type C2 using 20 mm aggregate as in bed of drains complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for Cement concrete 1:2:4 , type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in benching in manholes, coping plinth courses, bands stops etc including necessary form work complete all as specified.
Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 M wide and not exceeding 1.5 M depth for foundation, etc., and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition by breaking up salt glazed stone ware drain pipes of any dia jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches and preparing the concrete bed wherever required for laying new pipe and removing the debris from site complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and laying salt glazed stone ware drain pipes 150 mm dia (internal) grade 'A' laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:1 including testing complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in concrete bed to drain pipes of 150 mm bore laid to falls in trenches in any depth including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes with concrete after the pipes are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for precast slab for covers of manholes in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in including necessary form work and placing of manholes cover in position complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - (a) The payment shall be made only after placing of cover on manholes/area drains. (b) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid seperately.
Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) as in precast slabs of covers of manholes drains and removal the rubbish/demolished material outside defence land, complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for TMT bars of 10mm dia cut to length bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire not less than 0.9 mm dia(annealed) complete all as specified and directed.
Returning filling in including spreading levelling, watering and well remming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed. (Surplus soil if any shall not be removed & left proud over the trench)
Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe (Internal dia of pipe 150mm) and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and directed.
Supply only integral water proofing compound (for mixing in cement mortar or concrete) complete all as specified and directed.
Removing excavated soil n.exc. 50m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition cement Concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains, complete all as specified and directed.
Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds , mitred /stopped ends etc., complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing for heavy duty tiles (coloured), good grip series, size 300 mm x 300 mm x 10 mm thick, pattern as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry, laid over and including 20 mm thick (average thickness) cement mortor (1:4) bed, complete all as specified and directed.
Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. including Brushing old cement concrete floor with brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for 50 mm thick Cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in flooring/ hard standing finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement laid in alternate bays complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for providing factory made Precast Cement Concrete kerb stone, 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : - The minimum size of Kerb stone shall be 300mmx300mmx100mm and shall be embedded in the ground average 10cm deep.
