DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick with soil obtained from excavation complete all as secified and directed.

Removing excavated material n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as spcecified and as directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel 1/2 round or 3/4 pipe section in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 100 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not, otherwise provided for as in padding over roof slab, roof kers and the like complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cills, copings, steps, sesmic and other similar bands, coving, bed, plate and the like including weathering, sightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs, 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed, fixed to walls in any length with rubber ring joints complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up of existing covers of septic tank of any size and cleaning of same including dewatering and digging out sludge, mud state and removing the sludge to a distance exc 250 m and n.exc 500 m where directed by the Engineer -in-Charge, cleaning of inlet and outlet pipes and placing the cover in position complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of manholes of any size and depth up to 2.00 mtrs under foul condition by removing MH covers, removing of accumulated liquid, sludge/sediments, transporting the fluid/sludge etc in covered containers and depositing the same out side the camp area/ defence land, cleaning of the manhole with fresh water, placing MH cover back in intact position complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of sewage line (any bore) including affected manholes and disposal of waste materials / spoils upto a distance of 250 mtrs by any means (mechanical / manual) including washing out manhole and sewage line and disposal of waste / sludge in pits complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and removing individual blockage in IWC/EWC and removing sludge and foreign materials completely, neatly and making serviceble for free flow all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in manhole covers and the like complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggrgate) as in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc), chajjas, water troughs mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces, set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnectling existing water tank Exc 250 & N.exc 500 litres capacity setting aside or lowering if requied for roof repair, cleaning etc. and hoisting in position reconnecting, refixing in position up to 2 storey bldgs all as specified and directed.

Removal of existing treatment and wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles and roofs to preparation of surface for applying in primer and bitumen.

M & L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof for maintaining the uniform slope etc any thickness at any height and in any position complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 with water proofing compound @ 100ml per 50 Kg of cement finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (WPC shall be measured and paid seperately)

Supply only liquid water proofing compound.

Applying APP based polymeric membrane minimum weight 3Kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weight not less than 150gms/sqm) land on coat of bituminous shalitex primer @ 0.3litres/sqm by forced application complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Laying shall be done all as per manufacturer's instruction and all as specified in clauses 11.43 of MES SSR-2020 Specifications.

M & L for cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, machine pressed laid over and including screed bed in CM(1:6), set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in roof tiles complete all as specified.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion in concrete, masonary etc and making good the disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating post holes or similar holes, each not exceeding 0.5 Cu. M, getting out in Soft/ Loose soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m & making good surface.

M & L for Plain Cement Concrete Type C2 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing reinforced cement concrete type B-l, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in precast posts, fencing posts, straining or terminal posts, struts etc. for fencing, average sectional area exc 100sq. cm but not ec 250sq. cm. with or without chamfered angles and flat, splayed, rounded or mitred tops as directed and fixed including formwork, foundation base of RCC post and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT steel bars of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for TMT steel bars of 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified & directed.

S & F of galvanized, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair of galvanized, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section of grade Fe 410-W (Gde- E- 250) quality- A with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing including dismantling of old gate, door complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings 15 mm (below or above GL) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, path and the like, finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement, laid in panels and filling the joints with mixture of bitumen and sand complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 40 mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring, laid in panels, path finised even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified.
