Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables etc. in/c excavation for sockets and dressing of sides, where required ramming of bottom, depth up to 1500 mm ( Slope 1 in 200) in/c getting out the excavated soil and backfilling of soil as required after laying of pipe line, in layer not exceeding 200mm in depth in/c consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed with all required lead as per Chapter-2 of CPWD specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. A). For UPVC pipes in new work. a). In all kinds of soil. i). For pipes not exceeding 90mm dia
ii). For pipes exceeding 90mm dia but not exceeding 300mm dia.
Providing fixing and laying rigid UPVC pipe conforming to IS:4985 jointing with coupler of same class conforming to IS: 10124 (Pt.II) with solvent cement conforming to IS: 14182 in/c testing of joint complete but ex/c the cost of specials like bend,tees, etc. which will be paid seperately as per CPWD specification & direction of the Engg.-in-charge. (A) Class-3 (Working Pressure 6.0kg/cm2). (i) 40mm OD
ii). 50mm OD
iii). 90mm OD
iv). 110mm OD
v). 140mm OD
Charges for repairing of leakage in UPVC / HDPE pipe line with PVC coupler & solvent cement etc. including necessary earth excavation, backfilling of soil as required after laying of pipeline, in layers not exceeding 200 mm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in charge. i). 90 mm dia
ii). 110mm dia

Charges for dismantling PVC / HDPE pipe after necessary excavation of earth including washing and stacking of pipes properly at site with all leads and lifts and backfilling of soil as required in layers not exceeding 200 mm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in charge. i. 90 mm dia.
ii). 110mm OD
iii). 140mm OD
Washing & removal of deposited iron sludge & any other foreign materials from inside the existing water distribution pipeline(PVC) using the UPVC coil pipe washing rod fitted with iron brush in/c excavation trenches upto required depth with cutting of C.I/D.I/G.I pipes at a lenght of every 55mtr. interval or post thereof ant jointing of pipes & specials as required refilling trenches with available excavated earth etc. complete as per direction of the Engg.-in-charge (Rate in/c making PVC couplers,cost of cement solvent PVC pipe for making PVC coupler will be issued by the department at free of cost) i) 90mm OD

iii) 140 mm dia.
Washing & removal of deposited iron sludge & any other foreign materials from inside the existing water distribution pipeline (C.I. & D.I) using the UPVC coil pipe washing rod fitted with iron brush in/c excavation trenches upto required depth with cutting of C.I/D.I/G.I pipes at a lenght of every 55mtr. interval or post thereof ant jointing of pipes & specials as required refilling trenches with available excavated earth etc. complete as per direction of the Engg.-in-charge (Cost of C.I specials lead joints, rubber gusket joint will be issued by the department at free of cost). i. 150mm OD
Providing and laying of flexible PVC pipe (conforming to IS:7634) complete as per specification and direcction of the Engineer-in-charge (cost of earth work and fittings will be paid separately). (a). 15mm dia
Providing, fixing and laying fabricated UPVC straight reducer conforming to IS : 10124 ( Part 3 ) with solvent cement conforming to IS : 14182 including testing of joints complete as per CPWD specification and direction of the Engineer - in - charge. (i). 110 x 90 mm dia
Providing and fixing brass ferrule with C.I. cover conforming to IS : 2692 including boring and tapping the main as per CPWD specification and direction of the Engineer - in - charge. i. 10 mm nominal bore.
