Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Assembling of pole of length up to 7.00 m, comprising of 2 or more parts of 50mm to 80 mm GI pipes in combination of any height including necessary welding and fixing of the assembled poles in excavated pit of size 0.45mx0.45mX0.90m and providing & laying with cement concrete with 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources.) in the excavated pit and also above ground level of size 0.45mx0.45mX0.20m. Cost includes of all operations involved fixing of Pole truly to vertical and excavation of earth work, providing & laying of cement concrete including centring and shuttering, refilling/levelling etc.,complete and as per the directions of Engg-in-Charge. Notes: -GI Pipes will be supplied by Department. -Steel material used for assembling pole or modification in pole shall be paid for seperatly in relevant item. -Rate includes all material & labour charges for fixing the poles at site as per line diagram.

Transportation of posts to the work spot i/c loading, unloading and handling - Up to 10 Km. a) Between 10 to 5o Nos

Pulling and relaying of existing arial OF cable by untieing from unauthorised poles (non BSNL poles, trees, terrces of buildings etc) and fixing on newly erected poles wherever required throughout an existing route including materials for fixing cable to pole and all tools - accessories etc complete as directed by EIC.

Relaying (Pulling and refixing) OF cable to newly erected poles

Painting (two or more coats) on OFC poles/ pipes and fittings with black anticorrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand and manufacture over and including a priming coat of ready mixed zinc chromate yellow primer on new work : a) 50 mm diameter pipes .

Supplying and erection/ fixing of Galvanised steel wire of min. 6 mm dia. along the OF cable between the poles and binding to the OF cable at every 2.0 m with PVC coated steel wire or appropriate PVC tags for limiting sag Including necessary accessories for fixing properly to the GI poles etc., complete at work site all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Liasoning with the concerned PWD/ Dist Council/ Local Council/ Village Panchyat/ Defence / Para Military authorities etc.for obtaining necessary permission and execution of the work in co-ordination with the various concerned authorities as per standerd norms in this regard etc. complete. The agency has to make arrangements for the A/T after completion of the work and submit the A/T certificate for payment of final bill. All the Necessary official documents/official fee/ charges/ Challan etc., required in this regard shall be made available By BSNL as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Lettering (Letters B S N L) in vertical alingment on OFC route poles with synthetic enamal paint of navy blue shade at appropriate height and of appropriate size, depending on dia of pole (minimum height, width and thickness of individual letter not less than 3", 1-1/2 and 3/4") including all labour, material and tools as directed by EIC.
