Note for item No. 4.00 to 4.11:- (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, stone patti/brick/PCC block cover and protection pipe etc. shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) During laying of cable wherever road cutting required to be carried out. The road shall be made good surface finish with PCC 1:2:4 over a layer of PCC 1:4:8 and hardcore duly compacted with hand rammer / mechanical rammer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, n. exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, etc n. exc. 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out.

All as per item No. 05.00 above but exc. 1.5 m and n. exc. 3 m deep.

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm.

Removing excavated material (soil) n.exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

M&L for dry clean fine river sand as in sand cushioning to underground cable including punning down of sand layer all as specified and directed. Note :- Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm ISI marked (IS-5820-1970) laid flat for cable protection abutting each other laid dry width wise complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 40 mm bore tubes, galvanised steel, light grade, for protection of cable, laid in trenches/road crossing/floor or fixed to pole/wall with all fittings.

Supply and erecting in true vertical position steel tubular swaged poles of 11 metres long, type 410 SP-55 complete with cast iron base plate, goose neck bracket, finial taper plug, bolt, nuts & screws as specified and painting internal surface with anti-corrosive paint and external surface painting up to 1.50 m height from base of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint Ist quality black & yellow colour alternate strip 30 cm wide over a coat of red oxide primer and remaing portion with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L for mild steel cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat & two coats of aluminium paint.

S&F lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo Amp suitable for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pin type FRP grey polymer, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia suitable for working pressure of 11000 volts grade for HT lines fixed on poles complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for installing commissioning and testing of vertical expulsion type drop out fuse unit HT 11 KV triple pole out door type and rated capacity 200 Amp mounted on 6 post insulators and steel frames complete including connecting with HT cable leads spirally shaped duly crimped with suitable size lugs complete all as specified & direcyted by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, commisioning and testing 11 KV outdoor type gang opearted air break switch, 9 insulator, triple pole vertical type mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level with 25 mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) operating rod of suitable length for current rating upto 400 Amps with dropout fuse connected with new ACSR conductor. Note :- (i) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be included cost of steel frame, GI pipe of suitable length and drop out fuses. (ii) Insulators shall be of polymer type.

M&L for brick masonary platform for Transformer of size 3.0 x3.0 x1.50 m in cement mortar 1:6 with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggreagate, 15 cm thick, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate 20 cm thick copping over brick work, plastering to the exposed surfaces of masonry work with cement mortar 1:4 ,15 mm thick.

M&L and T&P for disconnecting HT/LT connection, shifting, installing, testing and commissioning of step down Outdoor type copper wound transformer of any capacity from one location to other location within the defence land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost of materials required for connecting, commissioning and testing of transformer shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for anti climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole including two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer.

S&F in replacement of HT jumper of 50 sqmm single core aluminium cable conductor incl PG Clamps, nut bolts, thimbles and washer required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors of any size from HT/LT poles and removing from site.

Dismantling stay assembly complete and removing from site. Note:- Demolition of concrete, etc. and excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Dismantling cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc. complete and removing from site all as specified and directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size and keeping serviceable insulators aside for reuse and removing unserviceable insulators from site all as specified and directed.

Note:- Cutting chases in walls/floors/ceilings wherever required for electric work shall be deemed to be included in respective item of Schedule ‘A’.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1 flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, ISI marked (IS-5820-1970) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in pedestal / pole foundation including necessary weathering and form work etc. complete. Note:- Volume of pole/strut shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) copings, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Volume of pole/strut shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.
