ANNUAL CIVIL MAINTENANCE WORK FOR HWBF, TALCHER PLANT SITE FOR THE YEAR 2023-24.

Providing and filling sand in plinth,under floors including watering,ramming,consolidating and dressing,etc. all complete as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8( 1 cement :4 sand :8 graded stone aggregate) with 40mm nominal size stone aggregate of approved quality in foundations,plinth,and under floor including ramming,leveling,curing,formwork wherever necessary etc. all complete as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete of grade 1:2;4 (1 cement : 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) with 20mm nominal size stone aggregate of approved quality in roofs, slabs, lintels, beams, chajjas, columns, walls, vertical/horizontal fins and all kinds of maintenance works including drip moulds, centering, shuttering, scaffolding, consolidating, curing etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer but excluding cost of reinforcement.

Providing ,laying and fixing in position TMT/HYSD bar reinforcement for RCC in situ work including cost of straightening,cutting,bending & binding with 16 gauge MS annealed binding wire , cement mortar spacer blocks etc. all complete as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and laying Brick work with non modular fly ash lime bricks (FALG Bricks) conforming to IS:12894, class designation 10 average compressive strength in super structure in cement mortar 1:6 including cost of scaffolding, raking of joints, curing etc. all complete at all levels as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and applying 12mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement: 6 fine sand ) proportion over brick masonry walls and concrete surfaces at all heights,including racking of joints,hacking of concrete surfaces, curing,scaffolding,providing grooves etc. all complete as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade .( one or more coats ) over old surface including necessry repairs to the surface as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and applying Synthetic Enamel Paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade. one or more coats on old work including preparation of surface etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing, laying and fixing 110mm dia nominal bore PVC rain water pipe of approved quality with inlet assembly, shoe and jalli cover at inlet etc. including all other specials as required and fixing with necessary MS holder over wooden packing to wall or concrete surface and filling the joints with cm 1:2, curing, scaffolding etc. all complete up to a height of 18m all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Maintenance of CI valves of 8'' dia. including dismantling , cleaning of internal parts, greasing of valve spindles, replacement of damaged parts and ensuring smooth operation of valves etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and fixing white vitreous china orissa pattren W.C pan of size 580x440mm with integraltype foot rests with 100 mm sand cast iron P or S trap , 10 liter low level white P.V.C flushing cistern with manually controlled device ( handle Lever ) conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings and fixtures complete including cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required. and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing white vitreous china pedestal type water closet (European type W.C. pan) with ISI marked white solid plastic seat and lid, 10 litre low level white P.V.C. flushing cistern, including flush pipe, with manually controlled device (handle lever), conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings and fixtures complete, including cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing White Vitreous China Flat back wash basin size 550x400mm with single 15mm C.P brass pillar tap with CI brackets,15 mm flexible inlet pipe ,and 32 mm cp brass waste coupling with standard pattern,including painting of fittings and brackets etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and fixing 10 liters capacity low level white high density polythelene/polypropelene flushing cistern of parry ware or Hindustan ware with ISI mark, providing all connections with new fixtures of approved brand including removing of old damaged cistern, making good the wall etc, all complete at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Cleaning and desilting of RCC under ground water tank of capacity 150 cum, thorough brushing of side walls and floor of tank using 20 kg bleaching powder, flushing out the tank with fresh water, disposing of silt to a lead of 100 mtrs. including taking all safety measures during work etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer.

Providing reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts, GI strips 25mmx3mmx1000mm @1m. c/c and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required at a height of 15m in asbestos roof top including necessary scaffolding & appropriate safety precautions as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing all tools, tackles, man power for disposal of garbages/debris/cut grass surplus earth from road side berms, and different type of officce waste, plant waste materials, and disposal of the same in a mini truck including loading, transporting, and unloading, etc., up to a lead of 2 KMS complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing white vitreous china laboratory sink of size 600x450x200mm with all fittings and fixtures, like G.I line connections, inlet 15 mm dia flexible pipe,C.P brass long body tap ,C.P brass stop cock, cp brass waste coupling, 32 mm dia waste pipe, drain pipe etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and fixing up to floor five level precast cement concrete solid block, including hoisting and setting in position with cement mortar1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), cost of required centering, uttering complete.1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing all tools, tackles, manpower and de-choking for free flow of the sewage and ensure not to obstruct any materials in sewage lines and inspection chambers / Gully chambers / man holes etc all complete including disposal of sludge at a distance of 1Km as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Dismantling steel work Channels, angles, tees and flats in single sections including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead in

Dismantling tile work thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 500 metres lead and removing unserviceable material with in 2.km lead.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 2KM metres lead

Suuplying and finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required make like ASHIAN/BERGER/NEROLAC/ANY APPROVED BRAND and shade New work/old work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) including cleaning of surface and removing loose particles etc all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing fibre cement reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres roofing North light curves in all colours with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts, GI strips 25mmx3mmx1000mm @1mc/cand or G.I. seam bolts and nuts, G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washer etc. complete wherever required and removing old asbestos sheet at a height of 15m in asbestos roof top including necessary scaffolding & appropriate safety precautions as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & fixing UV stabilised fiberglass reinforced plastic 2mm thick corrugated (2.5" or 4.2" or 6") or step-down (2" or 3" or 6" ) sheet up to any pitch, including fixing with polymer coated 'J' or 'L' hooks, bolts & nuts 8mm dia. G.I plain/bitumen washers, GI strips 25mmx3mmx1000mm @1m. c/c complete but excluding the cost of purlins, rafters, trusses etc. The sheets shall be manufactured out of 2400 TEX panel rovigs incorporating minimum 0.3% ultra-violet stabiliser in resin system under approximately 2400 psi and hot cured. They shall be of uniform pigmentation and thickness without air pockets and shall conform to IS 10192 and IS 12866.The sheets shall be opaque or translucent, clear or pigmented, textured or smooth as specified, including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required up to height of 60m including necessary scaffolding & appropriate safety precautions as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Charges for servicing fixtures such as bibcock, pillarcock, stop cock, shower rose, drain pipes of sink, wash basin etc., re-fixing the same fixtures after servicing, including providing nylon washers for cocks, ensuring smooth operation/free flow of water etc., all complete at all levels as directed by the Engineer.

Providing corrugated G.S. sheet roofing 0.63 mm thick with zinc coating not less than 275 gm/ m² including vertical / curved surface fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead, including a coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved paint on overlapping of sheets complete (up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories Gutter (600 mm over all girth) 0.50 mm (+0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand), Jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc., complete.

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete

Providing and fixing self cleaning PVC trap of 100 mm inlet and 100mm outlet of approved quality including cost of cutting, removal of old damaged trap, making good the walls and floors, scaffolding, curing etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used

Structural steel repair work work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing 30mm thick ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 ( Part - 1) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of first class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face venners on both face of shutter including 3nos of hinges and refixing of all existing MS Oxidised fittings and fixture and applying two or more coats of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved brand over one or more coats of approved wood primer, including removal of old damaged shutters etc.and necessary repairs of frame, all complete and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing 600x450 mm beveled edge mirror of superior glass ( of approved quality ) complete with 6mm thick hard board ground fixed to wooden cleats with C.P. brass screws and washers complete.

Providing and fixing hydraulic door closer 'HYPER' make universal type (IS 3564) or equivalent etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing and fixing in position anodised aluminium fixed window /ventilators /doors with hydraulic door closer using extruded sections of approved manufacturers viz. Jindal/Indal, frames, mullions, shutters fabrication & fixing etc. as per relevant I.S. specifications,aluminium frame work of approved manufacturers for partition wall using prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS 12823 grade i type ii,in paneling fixed in aluminium partition frames with stainless steel screws etc including 4mm thick approved quality transperenent glass of modiguard or equivalent make with PVC lining/rubber gasketting to ensure air tightness. complete as per architectural drawings and direction of engineer in charge .

Providing and fixing 4.00 mm thick plain glass panes with necessary beadings wherever required including removal of broken glass and beading.

Supplying and fixing of vertical blinds (Fabricated) to existing windows (As fixed in existing windows of Technical building) and as directed by the Engineer.

Supplying and painting with synthetic enamel paint Two or more coats on new/old work of approved brand like ASHIAN/BERGER/NEROLAC/ANY APPROVED BRAND and manufacture to give an even shade including cleaning of surface and removing loose particles etc all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing of Stainless steel wire guage (jali) (Grade-304) aperture 1.4 mm and 0.40mm in door and window shutters including dismantaling of old jali, provision of bidding as per the requirement and disposal of dismantaled item upto 2 km.all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Planning the shutters of doors, windows, ventilators, cupboards, refixing the same on the existing frames or in other frame including ensuring smooth operation of shutter, necessary screws, scaffolding etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.
