Construction of 2-Lane Road Over Bridge with Bow String Steel Beam in Lieu of Level Xing No. 118-C/E-2 at Km 250/9-11 in Between Dukheri and Kesri Railway Station on SRE-UMB Section on DFCC Route

FOUNDATION Bored cast-in-situ M35 grade with minimum cement content 350 kg per cum, RCC piles of 1200 mm diameter in all kinds of soil (including hard & boulders ) with Hydraulic Rig excluding cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of shoe and the length of pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc, (length of pile for payment shall be measured from top of shoe to the bottam of the pile cap). All complete as per drawing and conforming to section 1100 and 1700 of MORTH specifications of latest edition and clause 709 of IRC: 78-2000/latest edition including cost of bentonite slurry, initial vertical and lateral load tests, routine load tests and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead etc complete in all respect. (i) 1200 dia piles (A) The scope of work in the above items include: (1) The cost of all initial layout of piles and setting out, initial excavation, if any (2 a) The cost of boring through all types of soils/existing road/ pavement, removal of all obstruction like boulders, old foundation concrete or rock to be paid in relevant item above by chiseling or any other method as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. If a bore is abandoned for any reason no payment shall be made for such incomplete boring and shifting of the equipments (2 b) The cost of filling up of the empty bore, if required (3) The cost of preparation, circulation and handling of bentonite slurry. (4) The cost of disposal of all spoil, bentonite waste to keep the work area neat. (5) The cost of providing temporary liner and its withdrawal, if required below adjoining ground level (irrespective of the R.L of the adjoining ground level) for vertical piles) (6) The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients of cement concrete (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures, with batching plant, transporation, placement of concrete by tremie pipe for the required lengths of pile including providing cover blocks, stiffeners, handling bars etc. for safe handling of reinforcement cage. (7) The cost of breaking of pile head not earlier than 3 days after concreting and to remove spoil concrete to bring the pile head to the socketing level including cleaning and arranging the extended reinforcement bars as per drawings. (8) The cost of working for all leads, lifts, pumping / bailing out of water, labour, material and equipment etc. (9) The cost of mobilizing to site, installation at different locations transferring / dismantling, shifting, reinstalling and removal from site of the piling rigs and / or other equipments and all accessories including working plateforms (10) The cost of identification, protection and maintenance of existing services, if any, which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by piling operation incl. temporary shifting of such services to facilitate piling job shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge and the cost for the same as assessed by the engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (11) The cost of barricading and all traffic safety requirements as specified in the tender document. (12) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required to execute the job. The item also includes any other incidental expenditures for completing the job as per the direction of the engineer-in-charge (13) The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. (B) Mode of measurement: (14) Initial vertical load testing, horizontal load testing, routine load tesing required as per IS : 2911 part (iv) and as per MoRT&H specification (1) Length of pile shall be measured from cut off level to the tip of the pile correct to a cm in case where the pile is terminated. (2) Reinforcement steel shall be measured & paid separately

Integrity testing of pile using Low Strain/ Sonic Integrity test / Sonic Echo test method in accordance with IS 14893 including surface preparation of pile top by removing soil, mud, dust and chipping lean concrete lumps etc. and use of computerised equipment and high skill trained personnel for conducting the test and submission of results, all complete as per direction of Engineer in charge. Note :- The inclusion of above item in the schedule of work shall be judiciously decided by the technical sanctioning authority, keeping in view the quality control, type of soil strata and importance of the project

Earth work in excavation for Pile caps( Abutment, Piers) in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, till concreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts as per clause No. 304 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC below pile cap. The cost of backfilling around the pile cap and restoration of road, if required shall be included (MORT&H 304). (i) Depth upto 3m

Earth work in excavation for Pile caps( Abutment, Piers) in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, till concreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts as per clause No. 304 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC below pile cap. The cost of backfilling around the pile cap and restoration of road, if required shall be included (MORT&H 304). (ii) Depth 3m to 6m

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M15 grade minimum with cememt content 240 kg per cum,(aggregate 20mm nominal size) leveling course below the pile cap, etc. using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtrures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-Charge, including all types of shuttering, staging, centering, scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel) The rate shall include the cost of all labour, material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC as per clause No. 1500 and 1700 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 grade with minimum cememt content 350 kg per cum, for construction of pier pile caps, abutment pile caps, etc. using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, staging, centering scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel). As per MORT&H specification for road and bridges works (5th revision) / latest edition as per clause No. 1500, 1700 & 2100 of MoRT&H Specifications-2013 (A) The scope of work in the items include: (1) The cost of all initial layout and setting out work including identification of existing services, if any. (2) The cost of all pumping/bailing out of water, including its labour, material and equipments. (3) The cost of providing centering and shuttering including its erection, dismantling and removal of formwork including all leads and lifts with all required tools and plants to the required line and level. (4) The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures etc. with batching plant, transportation, placement, finishing and curing of concrete. (5) The cost of maintenance and protection of existing services, if any which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by any related activities including temporary shifting of such services to facilitate construction of pile cap work shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge, and the cost for the same as assessed by the Engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (6) The cost of installation of any fixture into the pile cap (cost of fixture to be paid separately) (7) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as specified elsewhere in the tender document. (8) The cost of testing of all the materials, involved in the execution of items as per QAP. (9) The cost of all incidental labour, materials, equipment and works required to execute the job as per directions of engineer-in-charge. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) Measurements shall be made for the finished volume of reinforced cement concrete restricted to volume as per approved drawing (excluding cost of reinforcement steel only). Quantity of concrete of piles, which has gone into the pile caps shall be deducted. Reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately

Steel Reinforcement: Supply, cutting, bending with all leads, lifts and depths, fixing in position reinforcement of any diameter, TMT Fe- 500 EQR/Fe 500 D grade or more for RCC work as per relevant BIS specification and drawing in RCC works in Foundations,sub structure , super structure and any other work in the BOQ .The rate shall include cost of all material including galvanizing / epoxy coating tying wire, binding wire, cover block, provision of stools, chairs, spacer bars, overlaps, support bars , labour, transportation, storing and all other incidental charges, tools & plants etc complete. as per clause No. 1600 &2200 of MORT&H specification 2013 / Latest edition for road and bridges works (MORT&H 12.40)

SUBSTRUCTURE- Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 grade with minimum cememt content 350 kg per cum for construction of Abutment, piers, dirt wall, pier caps, return wall and bracket etc. concrete using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43 appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, centering, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel, complete as per clause No. 1100,1500,1700 and 2200 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013). Height upto 5 met. (A) The scope of work in the item includes (1) The cost of all incidental work required including providing, placement and removal, shifting of shuttering, cleaning, oiling & maintenance, rection & removal of staging, scaffolding and form liner etc, for piers, pier caps, bearing pedestals and other works as stated in other parts of the tender document. (2) The cost of casting of a mock pier at casting yard true to line, level and shape as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (3) The cost of casting of pier, pier caps, abutment, abutment caps etc. including providing and mixing all ingredients and admixtures etc. in batching plant, transportation, placement, compacting, finishing and curing, placing in position inserts with pier/pedestals as per specification and the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (4) The cost of disposal of all spoils and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. (5) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as mentioned elsewhere in the tender documents. (6) Installation of any fixtures into pier/pier cap etc (cost of fixtures in any, to be paid separately. (7) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required for the executions of the job as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (8) The cost of testing all materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. (9) The cost of working for all leads, lifts, pumping / bailing out water, labour, material and equipment etc. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) Measurement shall be made for the finished volume of concrete only and will be restricted to the dimensions shown in the approved drawing. (2) Reinforcement steel shall be measured & paid separately.
